I hate photography. It's for losers.
btw, I'll be starting a project/blog for the newspaper soon tentatively titled "San Francisco on a Monday" where I'll be spending each Monday in a different section of the city photographing the people and writing about the experiences, what they tell, and so on. You might like it.

I only took a photo intro class and still have much to learn. I suggest taking it to get experience of the dark room and the process it takes to develop a picture. But with digital camera nowadays, you can just just experiment with your framing and lighting at no costs. Snap as much as you want and find out the results right away.

Nice pics. I can't wait to start shooting again. My old 20D is having a shutter problem, so I have to take it to the Canon repair center and have them take a look at it.

I'll be interested in that. I'm doing the same thing for this company I work for, it won't be just in SF, it'll be in every major city around the world. And of course, it won't just be on Mondays.

I've taken that same pic of Pier 39 from that tower. Nice view of the city from up there.

Really.
I wasn't gonna be happy until someone posted this. :D
I love San Francisco. Definitely taking the Mrs. - who hasn't been there - for our 2nd honeymoon.
That is, if, at that time, it is still above water. ;)

P.S.
If you posted a full-size image of the GGB at night photo, I'd be okay with that. My desktop needs a new face. :D

Thanks for the kind words. I'll try to PM you the picture tomorrow. Left the hi res pic at work.
Alamo Square(Full House intro) was our last stop. I wasn't leaving SF until I saw those damn houses :D

A spectacular city.
If you can, that'd be great. From the smaller image it looks like a great shot.
Cracked me up - whether you meant it or not (though I suspect you did) - when you wrote - "FULL experience...." after posting a pic of the 'Full House' houses. :D

I drive by there every day!
I do love this city (yes it's expensive), and I've snapped some nice pics while I've been living out here. Good times.

Great photos. The blog had some more excellent ones.
Btw, could I also get a copy of that picture? It's got a very ominous and eerie feel to it. Looks like there's a storms a'brewin :)
