Or maybe I should say future history. I finally got my paver brick that will be placed around the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. I know the inscription is chessy and played out but whatever I'm still glad I got it finally!

Very cool!
thanks I was kinda PO'ed because the Deadline was Oct. 1 and I had some trouble getting the money for it and then they extended the Deadline to Dec.31 so I went through all that for nothing. But now its all worth it.

If you don't mind, how much did that cost you?? I know alot of Teams want an arm and a leg for something like that.

there is 2 of them. They place one around the Stadium and they send you a replica free. They will send me a map of where my paver will be placed when the stadium is done.

its was an arm and a leg. The case cost about $60 and I decided to get the most expensive paver(with logo) and all of it cost me a little under $500. Yea I know, alot of money but I think its going to be awesome when I see it at the stadium.

Thats pretty cool. But I've got a question.....was there like a 50 page list of rules of what you could and couldn't write on it? Because after seeing the ridiculous redskins fans rig the pro bowl ballot, it's surprising that they wouldn't look at this as a $500 opportunity to get a few bricks letting Dallas know how much they suck.

The Dallas Cowboys have the right to deny any bricks that they want. So basically I doubt they would allow any of that to happen. Also because there would be the dumb people to make dirty comment on their bricks.

I ordered one the the regular size bricks and got my replica a couple of months ago. It cool, I can't wait to go to Dallas and find my brick! My high school alma mater did the same thing when they built their new high school. My parents, sister, and I all went there so we all split the cost to have a brick at the high school.

Not that it's the same but the Mariners did this when Safeco Field was built in 1999 and I missed out on the opportunity.:(

I would love to do this but I don't like the Cowboys enough to justify the cost. Still a very cool idea.

:D,
I'm going to the Home Depot, buy a couple bricks and inscribe them. Then when the stadium opens i'll just pop out someone elses brick and put my own in. The whole transaction should cost less than twenty bucks.

hahah I know I know, alot of people will be like psh yea right guy, But I was still very little when I started watching football and I thought Deion was the greatest guy on the Cowboys. (mind you that I was little and didnt know everything about football) So Deion has been my favorite player since I can remember...Literally
