I have only seen the Gold guitar versions (at TRU). I think when they come out, getting them on eBay is the best bet, since they go for very cheap there.

i don't know if they can do this but with every game guitar hero video game purchase at the gamestop down the block from me you get a buy one get one free guitar hero figure discount..thingy...thing :)

probally to much in stock... sad thing is the guitar hero's fill up what is usally halo 3 figs, there normal pegs,and a bit in the 4.99$ ps1 and reg. xbox games. halo got put on the check out pegs.

But seriously, why'd they pick this license? I remember when Joe kept teasing us with a "really big deal". He, if I remember correctly, said it was a "massively cool license" or something of the sort.

Guitar Hero sounds good in theory. But, they shoulda given the license to Hasblow, or some other mass toy company like that, who can afford to have a flopped license they put some detail and work into. McFarlane should stick more to the cult stuff like Dragons and Spawn and Zodiac. Yet, they all got cut (except Spawn) for Guitar Hero. Now, I'm not saying I mind so much, since Halo was also a reason for the drop. But, Guitar Hero? Seriously? Zodiac or Guitar Hero? Which would you buy? I never got any other TMP line cause of articulation, but I at least did see them sell somewhat, and know alot of people who liked them. I don't see any GH figures anywhere cept Spencers, and they've had the same ones since the release. No empty spaces or signs of them even being anywhere else. At least the other lines sold and got new cases in occasionally. Maybe they'll actually think about this for next years produciton lines. If they have any sense, they'll scrap Guitar Hero and push up the new Spawn Series for all you Spawn lovers, or bring back the other 2 lines that I know will at least go to some good homes instead of the clearance isle...

I liked both lines. But I admit I was very dissapointed with the size. I got eternal dragon and is still looking for basilisk right now for my dragon collection. I was supposed to get S1 zodiac (even if I dont like Gemini) but they cancelled the line so I did not buy them anymore. What the heck is a zodiac line if you only got 4/12 :(

I know that's not the whole reason, but I think they woulda done better then GH. And I didn't get them cause I wasn't into TMP. I just think it would be nice for the people that did want the new waves instead of GH being produced. But odds are they won't be redone either.

So I went to the mall today to get my eyes checked. Prescription got slightly worse :( . Ordered new gl*****es.

Anyway, I haven't been to the mall in ages, but they had re-opened a KB for the Christmas season. Since I heard of all the going out of business sales, I went to check it out. Everything was 30% off and the store was 1/2 empty.

Lots of shoppers; a long line for the register.

The action figure "area" consisted of a handful of wrestling figures, a single Brute Halo, a couple of Sportspicks, 2 of the crappy Dark Knight figures, and.... a full stock of Guitar Hero - including a gold guitar variant.
