They were one of the best toys of all time, especially star wars when it was them who provided me star wars goodies before Kenner came out with the action figures series. Now I don't hear much or see any loves for micromachine anymore. Also I am severely pissed that my star wars micromachine collection is missing.:(

Although I didn't collect anything other than star wars, they also did Predator, aliens, Terminator and Star Trek. Indeed they should have continued the lines. There are so much potentials ideas to be implement into micro machine. What I loved about Mirco machine when I was a kid was the fact that the world became a lot bigger in a micro scale, allowing my imagination to run free at will. The action fleet series also kicked ass and was also sadly killed off later on.

And here is the photo gallery for Star wars, although it is pictures of the packages rather than the sets themselves. http://www.rebelscum.com/mmplay.asp

I loved the Star Wars micro machines so much. Easily my favorite toys when I was younger.

Lol, I was just thinking about this a week ago. What the hell happened to Micromachines? They were immensely popular back in the day. I loved those things. I remember Pizza Hut doing a promotion giving away free Star Wars micromachines with purchase of a pizza.

Yeah, the Star Wars series went downhill as soon Phantom menace came out. Coincidence? I think not! It's all a conspiracy for Lucas to run everything into the ground!:D

Har har.

No, Hasbro screwed the line up by buying out Galoob, and then released Action Fleet vehicles with 1 less character...and frankly they didn't have very interesting releases even with the MM themselves. I miss Action Fleet...

I freakin loved Micro Machines!!! I only played with them...didn't ever get into the Hot Wheels except for the California Customs. Do you guys remember that series from Hot Wheels?

Not to mention when AOTC came out, Hasbro continued the Action fleet series, with no figures at all! The AOTC series was even less than TPM. The only interesting ship that came out for AOTC AF was the AT-TE and even that was disappointing as well.

how about Penny Racers???

Remember them? Micro Machine sized cars that you put a penny into the back bumper of, pulled them back and they popped a wheelie.

I just bought my daughter a 4 pack of party favor cars for a $1, and they seemed to have the same mold, just not pull back action...weird

It's quite clear that both times Hasbro has resurrected the Action Fleet line they have done their best to sabotage it so they could kill it for good, then reply to all revival requests with "We tried it, but fans didn't take to it."

"If it doesn't say Micro machines, it's not the real thing"

Those things were all kinds of awesome.

Love love loved the military line. Joes POGS and Military Micro Machines were an integral part of my early 90's toy love.

Actually it was the eighties when they came out, late eighties. Also they are still around at least as far as the name Micromachines, look at any Titanium that hasbro makes they all have the Micromachine logo. I miss the originals too, I still have them but in really crummy condition cause I played with them sooo much and lost many pieces. I think the toolbox playset is still the very best of all the playsets. What I have left I will give to my kids when I have kids to save some money and not buy too many crappy kiddy toys, such as fisher price.

I remember my Uncles carrying around a suit case of Micro Machine slot cars. They always play in front of my face and I don't get to touch it. I also got jipped by the playsets, they didn't include all the cars shown on the box. *shakes fist furiously*

I miss the super micro machines, the really mini ones about the size of a finger nail.

I loved Micro Machines and I still have quite a few....u know just the other day I was thinking of a board game a neighbor had that used Micro Machines....it was like a big island/jungle layout and you rolled dice and moved your truck around and it had hills that you rolled down if you landed on a certain spot and you put water in to create lakes and stuff, anyone else have that?

I only concern myself with the ones that ran 93-98.

The micro machine mini transformation playsets had one flaw in their box design. The plastic window displaying the mini figures could be ripped opened easily. I remembers a few times when I did spot a box with a broken window and a few figures stolen by whomever ripped the window open, and I would take a few figures on my own.

I love the fact you could step on the vehicle ones and never break! Those things were made to last! I only had the vehicles back when they just started out.

Except spaceships with wings!:mad::(

Oh and I do have the mini figures all piled up in the box somewhere in the attic, along with the action fleet ships. I still have my holy grail micromachine super star destroyer. It's a miracle this thing is still in my room, despite that it was the only micromachine piece that made the most trip ranging from school buses to school, my old room, getting lost and found again and again.

And speaking of action fleet, The hoth and death star sets was one of best I had fun with. My cousin and I had an awesome hoth battle that was really epic. It felt like forever to end the battle despites having only two AT-AT, two AT-ST. I had the kick ass remote controlled At-AT walker that made the battle a tons time fun. Man I would killed for remote controlled action fleet sized walkers and wheel vehicles.

I had some of the Star Wars and Star Trek ships and AF vehicles. I still have my Degobah X-Wing in the box. The box is all muffed up from being in storage but all the pieces are there and I only opened it to look at it, never took it out of the plastic. Seems like I might as well now though, looking at how bad the box actually looks.

And I don't have a picture of it, but I have Boba Fett and Slave 1, but I lost the Han in Carbonite while it was in storag somewhere. And my dad still has some of the smaller ST and SW vehicles, cause I found them with my stuff and I gave them back to him since they were his. I remember having the regular X-Wing with Luke, as well as the A-Wing. I uno if I still do somewhere. If I do it's in storage.

Mostly because they used him in one of the VH-1 I Love the 80's series.
