My main point is: Don't you think we're getting either Flacco or Ryan with what Todd said in the questions thread?

If we weren't getting at least one of these great young QB, he would have said so (as he did with ed reed). So at the very least we're guarunteed one of them!

I wouldn't mind them taking a shot at another short released Rookie Series like with NFL 3 only this time they actually have quality proven Rookies they can make.

Matt Ryan should be in White Uni. with Red chase if they make a chase version.

No problem here with young guys but how about at least 2 solid season under their belt before they get SP consideration outside of the Draft Pick fig. they do. To many young guys explode on the scene never to be heard from again. Prime example that I used in my previous post is the NFL 3 scenario. Only player out of that series that ended up living the hype was LT.

This is true, but you also have to take other things into account. For one, outside of LT, the rookie crop that year was downright lousy. I thought the concept of an all rookie series was great, but they picked a poor year to try it. Also, they decided to save Michelle Vick and Anthony Thomas for series 4 and 5-probably wise moves at the time. Then, you also have to realize that they probably picked the lineup for series 3 before any of those guys had even played a regular season down.

With how much lead time they need to go from concept to production to retail, I don't even know how feasible it is at this point for them to do another rookie series. If they did, it would probably have to take the place of the "wave 3" that we are seeing this year and hopefully in the future. Either that, or it would be an additional series that would maybe come out around March or April. I wouldn't mind that at all, but I can't see it doing terribly well at retail at a time when it would have to compete with all the baseball stuff coming out.

Agreed so they should do a " Young Guns " series instead of a " Rookie " series.

That would be the cat's ass, but unfortunately most of the good "young gun" types play for teams that are on Todd's "no-no" list.
