OT: Today is going to be depressing (financially speaking)

Every year on Dec.31 or Jan.1 I go over my finances to see how much I made & saved during the previous year...... Every year I did ok... enough for me to be satisfied... This year is going to be depressing, disgusting and scary...... And on that note, HAPPY NEW YEAR !! :)

I loved my holiday greeting, which came to our mailbox first thing on Dec. 26 in the form of a newly increased property tax bill courtesy of the City of New York (http://www.nydailynews.com/topics/New+York+City). Three cheers for the way the money is mishandled, and how they push the burden of fixing the problems off on the little guys. What a city we live in.
