Campaign Elites?

I'm pretty much a Halo n00b, and am just starting to collect the figures. All I'm interested in is campaign figures, so I was wondering which Elites that have been released/announced would work as campaign figures.

The normal Elite from series 3 can pass as N’tho ‘Sraom (co-op player 3) without any alterations done to the figure. In series 5, there is an Elite with assault armor, but silver in color. So a simple paint job (darkish purple) can make the figure pass as Usze ‘Taham (co-op player 4).

EDIT: Oh, Rtas 'Vadum (the shipmaster) uses armor pieces from both of those figs. Combat helmet, with assault shoulder and chest pieces. Then just paint him white, and remove the left side of his mandibles.

Alright, thanks. What about the 'generic' ones that play alongside you in certain levels? Are they a particular color/armor type?

Pretty much the standard series 3 elite. They usually wear combat armour and have red or blue armour, but some also wear assault armour.

Yea, I don't know why they labeled the series 3 elite as multiplayer, it is just a "generic" elite minor that would fight by your side in campaign. (It would also work as N'tho Sraom)

I labelled mine as N'tho and won't buy another one of those. I was gona army build with the multiplayer Elites, but I realized how much that might cost. So I'm gonna stick to the same thing I'm doing with the Spartans for the Elites. Just 1 of each.

Thats what I have been doing too, since I keep my figures in the package anyway, it wouldn't make sense to have a ton of the same figure.:p

It does for the Brutes, but not the Elites. It'd be the same as having a bunch of the same color Spartans with the same Armors, like 5 Blue Mark VIs or something. Doesn't look right to me.

I get why. I just don't wanna do it myself. I have 2 ODSTs, and 4 Brute Stalkers, 2 Brute Ceiftans, 5 Drones, 2 Jackal Snipers. And I would have more Grunts if I could too. But I don't. Anywho, yea, I just prefer not to. I like N'tho, and I don't want anyone I have looking like him. And I didn't wanna custom paint anything on him either.

Nice setup, Av. I just grabbed another blue Elite while Wal-Mart has their $7 sale going on, so I'm up to five or six now myself. I need to spread around some of my extra Needlers like you did though.

I was in South Carolina visiting my parents when I grabbed that last Elite. I just got back home tonight and went looking for the Spartan with the Brute Shot, just for the damn weapon, but all the Halo figs were wiped out here, so I suspect the sale's going on here too.

I'll check when I'm out on monday. But I have everything through S3, so I doubt I'll buy any if I do find em.

I'll trade a steel CQB for a Brute Shot, sniper rifle, and Plasma Sword ;)

I have four elites, my plan is to paint them the different rank colors, though i need another one to get all 5, though the one staying blue would be N'tho

not just Needlers. There's a Beam Rifle in there, too ;)

I didn't see any sales at WM on Halo figures yet. I picked up an extra Blue Scout and it was still $10

I do admit that I have multiples of the elites, ODST and grunts, (after seeing your pics, I may have to open an elite or two :D) the amount you've got there is reasonable, but some people get like 100 of the same figure, and then they say they can't afford the other ones :p

Went to WM. $7 on sale. Pegs were empty. I woulda laughed if I found S4 figures on the pegs with the $7 price tag. I woulda snagged a bunch of those.
