Anyone have some good advice on how to get the best prices on buying new stuff online [not used]? Currently the 2 hobbies I spend a lot of my extra money on are electronics/gadgets and character figures/statues. But I want to be wiser at spending my money this year. The money saving method I currently use is search the best price on the item I want with Google Product Search or PriceGrabber. Then I search for coupons. I also compare store deals and cashback at http://toymall.synthasite.com (http://toymall.synthasite.com) when I shop for my character figures/statues. Do you think this is enough to shop smart or are there more tricks? Any recommendations? Thanks.

I check everywhere for the things I'm looking for...anywhere that might possibly offer it, I check there and compare prices...the site with the best price gets my cash.

I normally use first Amazon or someone with a better price from their marketplace......
If the item is not available there or is too expensive, then I search other stores...

I just end up mostly watching ebay patiently. Something eventually comes along at the price i am looking for. Overstock.com is alright depending on what you are looking for.

There... no more deleting & re-posting "I'm in the us btw" for you as a cheap way of bumping. ;)
Post 2 already answered you... just find the websites that carry what you're looking for and shoip around on them... there is no magical single website that has the best price on whatever product it is you're looking for... you just have to do the legwork.

Quoted.
Now you have to come up with a different thing to post, delete, then re-post. ;)

I get most of my high end items from alterego. They always have great prices.

Shouldn't you be asking about Groundhogs day (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107048/) deals?
