Its s space issue for me. I can't decide if I should keep the boxes and packing to all my statues or not. What do you guys do?

Keep them. You might not ever sell them, but you might move, or put them in storage. I don't want to imagine how hard it is to box up statues for a move.

yeah, if nothing else I try to hold onto them for storage/moving purposes. I don't have that many though so its not really an issue for me

I still have all the boxes yeah, mainly because I like them but they are also invaluable when you have to move!

I keep all of mine stacked up in the attic (in their original shipping boxes too) ... Although space is getting tight up there.

I recently figured out what to do with all of my boxes. Put them in the attic if you have one.

Definitely keep them for moving purposes. Stuffing them up in an attic or garage rafters is easy to do.

I say keep the boxes if you can. You might need them later to store your statues. I have kept all my Batman black and white statue boxes.

if they look really nice and are of good quality, probably. I have some 'statuesque' figures of Musashi from fewtures Vagabond series, and the boxes have such great aethestic quality to them that I use them as display pieces

I only have 3, but I keep them in case I have to move. I don't know what I'll do when I'll get to a certain point... I have no attic. But then again, I don't plan on having over 10/15 statues anyway...unless I win the lotto but then I'd get a bigger room ;)

I've kept all mine--and they take up WAY too much space. But I will move someday and be very happy to have them.

Hell yes, I keep them. What the hell else are you going to put them in if you ever move? Bubble wrap and foam peanuts just aren't going to beat a specially made, vacuum formed cradle of protection. Like, take the Green Lantern/Sinestro statue I bought a few years ago: the figures are attached to the base at two TEENY spots to give the illusion of flight. If I put that in a regular box to move it, I would get six, maybe eight pieces out after all is said and done. I pack everything in the box it came in, then pack more filling in if I need to. I also box and move all my fragile stuff myself so that I know my stuff isn't going to get ****ed up and I'll have only myself to blame if it does. Aside from one statue that the comic shop dude knocked off the shelf after I paid for it (and promptly refunded my ****ing money) I've never had a statue so much as chip in my ownership.

as someone that has thrown out the boxes and moved twice in the past 4 years, i say KEEP YOUR BOXES! they're a huge pain in the ass to box up and chances are they're going to get broken. quite a few pieces of my collection have been superglued back together and it eats me up inside.

I even keep the packaging for all my "specialty" toys (McF, NECA, etc.) for the same reason. A lot of them are as fragile as a statue. The only packaging I throw out is for stuff like ML, DCUC, etc.

Absolutely. I keep them for value purposes, completeness, design, & in case I ever move I can protect the statue by putting them back in their original boxes.

well, I only have one techincal statue (Green Goblin) and I kept the box. But I also kept the box for my Jin-Roh Panzer.
Any of my "higher end" pieces I tend to hold onto the boxes...just in case
