OT: Dead space help

I just beat the game a few minutes ago and as a reward for beating it I got 10 power nodes, 10000 credits, a new armor type and impossible mode. I started a new game but dont have any of this. I saw impossible mode in the main menu tho. Will I get this after I beat chapter 1 again?

You have to play a new game +. meaning needs to be on the same dificulty setting you played through the first time. Starting impossible mode you don't get all that stuff, you have to start from scratch.

Its fun. The plots not to intuative but overall its a good game.

You just load the clear game save and you should have everything from the get go iirc. haven't played it for awhile.

Well, I kinda went straight to a new game on the same difficulty I was on last time hoping it would be there. Half way through chapter 1 I consulted the fourms.

Since were on this subject, I am on chapter 4 I believe it is and I can not beat the part where you sit behind the canon and have to blow up the asteroids until your partner gets something going in the ship. Any tricks or just have to keep trying ?

kinda just aim for the ones in the middle, after awhile you can tell which ones aren't going to hit the ship. after I did I got the 50% or more shields achievement.

If you saved over the file or any close to the end I don't know what to tell ya....

See I thought you had to shoot them all or else they would hit the ship, glad I asked :).

I don't have my coy anymore otherwise Id check it for ya, but Im pretty sure it gives you an option to save game after the credits, which is the new game plus. Select that when starting a new game. If you've already saved over your old file with a different started game you're SOL.
