I hate the Lunar New Year because of my parents. When I was a kid, people were handing me red envelopes with $100 bills as a good luck gift for the New Year, but my parents always forced me to return the $100 bills and ask for $1 instead. I never enjoyed the Lunar New Year as a child and now that I am an adult, I just plain out hate the Lunar New Year. I'm sorry I brought negativity to your thread.
