I Pod Touch question and how do you like yours? What apps do you use?

I'm gonna be getting the 16GB 2nd Gen I Pod Touch. I've pretty much done a bunch of research on it but still have a question and want to see what others who own one think of theirs.



My main question is, I use my X Box 360 as a very large home MP3 player on my stereo. I've got hundreds of songs and custom playlists on my 360. Does anyone know if there is any way I could transfer a lot of those songs and playlists directly to my I Pod?


Also what are your favorite things that you do with your I Pod Touch? Games, Apps stuff like that.

not sure about the xbox but you will not be disappointed with the ipod I use it for everything..

Calendar, music, notes, internet, games, blogging, ect.. its really just a handheld computer.

I love my ipod, its amazing. There are apps for everything!

And regarding your XBox question, I don't think there's a way to directly transfer. You may have to get a spare blank disk, save the songs to that, and import them to iTunes. But, you might be able to if the 360 recognizes the iPod to be a hard drive, through the USB ports.

Thats wat I use it for. As for apps, I use comiczeal for now. I plan to make more purchases later. But you wont be disappointed when you purchase yours. I have a 32 gb and I am luvin it.

Got my 16GB Touch yesterday and having a blast with it. Downloaded Dark Knight, Wall-E and Hulk onto it and works and looks perfect. Got a few songs downloaded but have TONS more to add. I've added the comiczeal app and looking for other cool apps to use. Give me some tips guys. :o :)

Its in Itunes under the photos tab. Just create a folder named Photos or watever and have the photos tab point to it and it will download the pix from that folder to you touch.

What other apps are boardies using and liking right now? Like news, entertainment, sports?

I added The Weather Channel, Ebay, Facebook, Google, Google Earth, Connect Four, Flixster and TMZ.

The girlfriend and I picked up a 32gb touch each just this week. I love it so far. Only have music on it so far but looking into apps this weekend. How much do they usually cost? I Only use my motorola Q as a phone now. This thing is so much better.

All the apps I listed above that I have already were free. The stuff you pay for are mostly TV shows, Movies, songs and game apps. Have not looked up TV shows but most good movies cost $15 down to $10 and songs usually run around $1 each. Game apps are different prices but I've seen most around $5-$6.
