Question: Should I get the Iron Man movie fine art bust for cheap?

Okay, luckily my manager managed to get a Diamond price guide/2009 toy fair order form and as as far as I know, we can order from them and get it at wholesale (unless he's mistaken)

Batman B&W's are $48.75, so I'm going to get the Bruce Timm and Joker ones, for sure.


So my question is that bust sells for 80 bucks, but wholesale price is only $47.99.


Now I have a few Bowen busts, a Diamond Cable bust (it actually fits in well with the Bowens) and a Hot Toys 1/4 Joker bust.

I'm thinking this thing is cheap, so why not right? But it might not look that nice with my other Marvel busts :(

So I don't know if I should just get something else or go for the Iron Man bust.


Any thoughts on this?

BTW, I don't wanna go too crazy in ordering just because its cheap- I'm placing a 200/250 dollar limit for myself.

It's about 9" and I don't think I plan on getting any other Koto busts unless they put out something that I want.

But it looks so nice and cheap.

It's weird how the Storm and Kitty busts are the same size or even bigger (Storm is a whooping 11") so it'll look weird with them even.

It would be nice if it blends in with the Bowens but at 9" I doubt it. 7 or even maybe 7.5 could, but this thing is the same size as the Spawn Throne figure :-\

Not nessisarily... Storms bust has her arms up over her head.

That would account for the difference in height. (if we're talking about the same set of Koto marvel busts...)

True. They'd still be in the same scale, just different poses.

But to be honest I'd rather focus on hunting/getting Bowen unless Koto makes a Deadpool.

It's just this bust looks awesome but IDK where'd I stick it.

Thing is, if it was wasn't just under 50 bucks I wouldn't even consider it, despite how cool it looks :-D


I wish the order form had more Bowen stuff :-\

Looking at these wholesale prices is crazy, stuff that's $175 is around $105/113. Too bad there's no Omega Red or Mr. Sinister in here.

Yeah, you're right. I'm just trying to justify the discount in wholesale savings. Might as well save that 50 bucks for something else, at least I'll get some B&W's for 25 bucks less.

I already have the 1/4th Joker bust, even though I have a ton of Batman stuff maybe I should get the Batman bust to complete the pair since I don't have the Hot Toys full figures.
