View Full Version : what the HELL is this?! Does a BOMB SQUAD officer actually look like this?!

So I just bought a Limited Edition of Brothers in Arms, it came with an army figure, and I looked up the company that made him 'Plan B toys'

so anyway they have a whole bunch of figures, and hey.. they're not the best company in the world, but they're definitely not the worst. Far from it.

and then I stumbled upon THIS GUY... the 'bomb squad'

It looks awkward because of the real cloth on such a small scale, but yeah, they wear suits like that.



And yes... they look ridiculous.

Though if I had their job I'd wear a clown suit if it kept me safe.

Of course they dont wear roller skates though :D

I was wondering the same thing. I'm sure it gives a degree of protection with consideration to the size of the blast and how far away they're positioned from it but what if they're right there when it goes off...? I still want one of those suits.

There's less and less reasons for these guys to dawn their suits now, robotics have replaced alot of their jobs.

The suit looks that way so when bad guys see them they can't stop laughing until they've defused the bomb. Then the bomb squad guys taunt them with the useless bomb, and demand to know "Who's laughing now?"

And then they all go get ice cream.

At least, it would be awesome if that was the way it really worked...
