I used to have X-Men checks, for lack of anything else non-generic to get from the bank. Every time I wrote a check, I felt like a complete moron. Did I really need to display my dorkish leanings to the accounts clerk at some financial institution?
Now I just use the basic stuff. I feel much better about myself in public now.
