Very cool, MM. I'm a Black Bolt fan so I really like he got a figure made. I've been drooling over the Bowen statue for some time now.

On the toy? not even close.
In the comic? kinda, sorta. Look close at the 2nd last sidebar pic on the package, and that's about as close as it gets.

How much was it for the case?

$210 @ bbts.

Nice. Nova and Camo Punisher score looks great. The **** with the Ares wave mix up?!

Hasblow had a bunch of orders for a second (third / fourth / whatever) wave of Ares figs.

Then... as the release date came close, hasblow told folks "Oh, by the way, we're changing the assortment of the Ares wave to this "nemesis" wave. instead of doubles on the current wave, we're tossing in some from the previous series. " (basically)

Nice. I thought about ordering a full set since there are alot of borderline figures I wanted. That regular Punisher looks awful. I'm glad I got the Camo Version instead. Good stuff though.

According to Wiki, he was called Nemesis with his first appearance (X-Men Alpha), but then changed to Holocaust.

According to X-men alpha, he was always called Holocaust.

According to the toy packaging he's called Nemesis. I'm aware of the Nemesis/Holocaust debate.

Acccording to the packaging it's also a walmart exlcusive.... but I didn't get it at walmart, so .....


And of course walmart's going to want the more PC name of Nemesis over Holocaust, the same as... what was it, TRU? ... had "Big Red" on the Hellboy 2 packages. Doesn't change the actual characters name. ;)

A few days ago, I got the ares series from boardie Forsak3n... I noticed then that Warmachines helmet didn't want to come off, but as it was my only one I didn't want to force it and break it.

Now I have the second one, I tried it, and it's helmet was stuck on...

Sicne I had 2, I figured screw it, and pulled till something came apart. ( Luckily it was the helmet that gave, not the neck joint :p )...

What I found was an unpainted head that the helmet was glued too...


I know when the Ares series first came out the helmet was easily removable... anyone know why the change?

Ugh, that series is the first ML line in a LONG time I want all the figures from, and they come with a BAF I couldn't care less about...

Ah well, it's not like it'll show up here anyway...

funny, I was just about to make a reply saying how this is the first BAF I've wanted since the sentinel, but I don't care about any of the individual figures...

if you end up getting them all and want to let go of Holocaust, let me know and maybe we can work something out...

I'll keep that in mind, but like I said, I doubt I'll even see them over here..
