...I just realized, that could be the fix to my blue CQB problem. I needed another chest for my custom multi-player spartan, and that armor pack will do wonders since I'm getting a second blue Hayabusa for the head.

I'm kinda excited now. Yay.

I might even get a second for the security armor, but if I just need the chest and use the Hayabusa body... AHHH, decisions decisions lol.

I remember when they first anounced it the armor pack was labelled Teal in the list. Then it changed to White. I wonder what it's labelled as now. Let me go find out. If it is Teal, then it looks close enough to the regular blue that it might not matter, it could be interchangeable. If it is different, and noticeably in person, I'ma end up buying 4, 1 for each armor set.

BTW, I put the new Teal spartan next to Series1 and the Guardian Spartans.
Now you can see the slight color change better, although the Series1 color isn't at all accurate to what was released.

Yep. The Red Pack will have two never released Armor types: Red ODST & Red SCOUT. Hence, buying only 2. If the Teal packs are in fact Teal, then that will be the first Teal figures they've released, hence buying 4 for all 4 armor types....

These armor sets have me nervous.
I like it, but I fear it at the same time. I'm just afraid that these are signs that the series has run it's course, and that McF is just squeezing the last drop out of it. I mean...other than a few other Campaign figures, Elites, vehicles, 1 more armor type, and a few more color variations, the line seems to be wrapping up. It looks like 2-3 more series before it's all done. :(

Sure they can go wild with secondary colors. However, I can't see many people other than completest buying the same multi-player figures with the same colors just for the added strip at the top of the "head& shoulders" (lol..see what I did there). Now if they start coming out with pieces of the Maps as diorama sets.....OMG! That's a whole new ballgame. lol

I wasn't too fond of the Medal Edition idea though.

I dont see how you figure that. It seems like there doing alot of what people wanted them to do. People wanted Armor packs, their making armor packs. People wanted weapon packs, their making weapon packs. People wanted Multipacks, their making multipacks. People wanted Secondary colors, their makeing secondary colors. People especially wanted less exclusives, ther making less exclusives. And now, their making even more stuff outside of the 5 inch scale. I think this has at least till the end of 2010.Maybe even more, with the new Peter Jackson Halo project and Frank O conner recently stateing we havent seen the last of master chief.


I also beleive that the packs will come with dioramas. I mean, other than the Gravity Hammer and bubble shield, how else is it a Guardian pack?

Nice. I'm glad they made it better so we can get a few more Red figures out of it. Although, I wouldn't have minded the Red Security. And I'm glad they put the EVA head back in, cause it was in the first draft then taken out. I wanna replace my S1 EVA head to match the ones from S2, since I have a smaller one from when they first came out. And then they changed it to be more game accurate. I'll be keeping the original head though.

Yea. The main purpose for these is for people to make their online Spartans, or Multiplayer versions. We might end up seeing at least 1 pack for every color. But they can't put every armor there is in there, or they won't sell the single figures and people will be buying just the packs. I don't know if that would be a good marketing strategy or not.

Put alternate left hands in there and I'll love it even more. :D

I hope not! The antenna is a cool feature.
