anyone else think the stadiums look empty? and the Pitt/E. Tenn. game looks like it's being played in a high school gym.

I've noticed it in past years too. Having nuetral site 1/16 games don't always spark the interest of the locals.

Give it a round...then we'll see.

I hate how they have now made all the courts look the same, with the blue NCAA logo at center and the black sidlines. I miss the classic Boise court

That game was at Dayton's home court, while Dayton was playing. People probably wanted to watch them on T.V. instead of see a 1 versus 16.

Its the economy plain and simple. Less people are willing to pay money to be in attendance when they can watch at home. Im sure arena's will fill up the deeper we get into the tourney.

Having games during work doesn't help attendance, either. Aren't more of the later games on at night and on weekends? I would hope they would get more people for those. Of course, the better matchups will help as well.

I still cant figure out how they have games from the south region in place like Portland and stuff. It just doesnt make any sense really.

These sites this weekend have nothing to do with regions. The sites for next weekend will be location specific.

I just think it is kind of stupid, they should at least keep the region games in cities of that region. Why cant teams from the west region play in portland?

The thing is that no one knows what bracket the the first round sites will be in until the seeds are unvieled. They try to make this weekeend's games closer to the teams competeing and don't really don't care which bracket it's in. Somebody else care probably make more sense out of it than me...

The tickets are kinda expensive. Round 2 tickets in Boston are like $130 for junk seats.

I don't think they did that. Minnesota's and Dayton's are the same. I think that's just how Boise's court looks now.

Playing basketball in the Metrodome is a disgrace.
