Coming this September...we find out if it's a boy or girl in a month...

This could be the haul to end all hauls...especially if they cost as much as folks are telling me... ;) :)

Looks a bit like a mutant fish thing to me, but the OBGYN assures me it's human ;)

Thanks all - and Jor, that's the Jason doll/fig I plan to give my son/daughter too - I was born on Friday the 13th (July 79) and actually grew up at Crystal Lake (Iowa, near Davenport) - always have been a Friday the 13th fan... :D :D

My wife of 8 years is feeling a bit better now that she's through the first trimester, but it's still back rubs nightly and covers on, covers off, covers on, covers off...over and over again...all night long... :(

Though pretty soon it will be up all night, up all night, up all night from what I hear...

Wow congratulations, I've been thinking of getting one but don't have the cash yet. Plus they say you should be careful which company you order from.

For sure - make sure it's a company that's better looking and smarter than you...and then pray the kid has more of momma's DNA... ;) that's what I'm doing at least...

I tried telling my wife it was a plush toy, but it's still not allowed in the crib ;)

I've driven through davenport many times going to visit my grandparents in eldon. I'd always see that sign and think it was so cool that there was a crystal lake in iowa...

Congrats Jess!

And if you're lucky, the "up all night" thing should only be the first 4 or 5 months.

Or it could be like our second boy, he hasn't slept through a whole night in the year he's been with us.

Congrats.

I have a co-worker who I can't tell if she's pregnant or not. I don't want to ask her or else I might get slapped. It's really hard to tell really because her shirt is loose.

Congratulations! September's not too far away so you better start baby-proofing.
There is nothing scarier or awe-inspiring than bringing a little one into the world.

I think the current estimated cost of raising a child to age 21 is 1.3 million dollars. At least thats what my child psychology teacher told us last semester. I think he was exagerating (just a little). :D

Congrats man I know you'll make an awesome dad!
