i placed an order with a comapny,Ringside Collectibles,on March 27th....a week later (April 3rd) i get the e-mail that my order has shipped and the tracking number...but ever since then,the staus of the order is alwayds the same thing:
Electronic Shipping Info received....
...so today,i check again...STILL only has that the info is received...so i call up USPS to see what's going on...they look in their computers and say that,indeed,they only got the Shipping Notice,and that the company muct not have had the item picked up or dropped it off.....so i'm pissed off,i'm thinking how long is it going to be til they ship it?
took a few calls,but i finally get someone at RC ,and they check for me...they say the order was shipped on Monday,and that it's Priority Mail,so it should be here by the end of the week...when i mention that USPS said that their system shows they never got the package yet,he tells me that they screw up like this all the time,and sometimes forget to rescan the label into the computers once it's in transit...
my question is,has anyone ever heard of this happening/had it happen before? or am i just getting a runaround? i so rarely have ever used USPS for packages that i wonder if this is feasable?
