Well, let's be honest, Series 1 wasn't all that great, for the most part. S. 2 showed promise, but by that point it was too late.

Case in point: Don't lead off with lame figures.

I would have loved to pick up all 12 of these figures. It is a real shame that the rest of the line never got made.

Not to mention that literally a week after they were released, the line was officially canceled, thus dooming the sales of the first series. Had they not officially canned them, sales may have been good enough to warrant the stores ordering the next series. My guess is that they wanted to clear their plate to ramp up for Halo & Guitar Hero.

Excellent Point, Zodiac and Blade Hunters had lots of potential and could have brought McF back to the old days of producing awesome figures.

TMP has done that a couple times with lines. they try and save the good ideas incase the series survives but never put anything in the first series worth buying.
