On your carded figures, do you prefer cards with a closed hook / hole for hanging on the pegs, or the traditional open "J" hook.
I find it easier to remove a given figure given that it has a "J" hook, but they are often most susceptible to having multiple figures accidentally go flying to the floor.

J hooks are best for pinning figs to the wall. Also, easy to remove from said pins.

Closed hooks.
They don't bend/tear as much.

This is a truism, but to get the figure you want from way in the back you have to empty the entire peg. Then when you do, do you put them back or leave them on the shelf?

What's this "leave them on the shelf" you speak of?
Can words be put together like that? lol ;)

I don't like the open hooks, they tend to get snagged when I "dispose" of them as discussed in the other thread.

Closed hooks. When I buy figures to keep MIP, I don't usually hang 'em up.

I like the look and functionality of open hooks, and in practice they are great for Star Wars and GI Joe figs. But with heavy figs (old Marvel Legends, etc), you need closed hooks.

Open hooks, they'd work for even heavy figures if the manufacturers would pay attention and reinforce the hooks better when needed.

Oh wait, we aren't talking about bras here?
