Just wondering how everyone disposes of their packaging after opening a figure. For carded figs, do you cut up the cardboard backs? Or, just fold 'em and toss 'em in the bin? What about clamshells? Has anyone ever put them in for recycling? They're plastic, you know..

See, I was considering this. But what do you do when you're at capacity, and you've got nowhere to put 'em? What..do..you..do?!?!

If it's a cardback, recycle it. If it's a clamshell, take scissors to it and cut it up into tiny pieces, then throw them away. Getting rid of packaging is a fat pain!

Hmm, never thought about tossing the clamshells in the recycling... I'll have to start doing that!

I recycle it all. I even asked the recycle center if it was cool to throw in the clamshells and they said that's exactly what should be done with them.

I just throw it all in the street. Somebody always picks it up. Saves me a lot of money in garbage pick-up.

Place the clamshell face down in the river, and the shape makes it act like a little boat.
Mother Nature then takes it to where ever it's intended to go I guess... all I know is that it goes away and I don't see it again.

If I want the cards, I keep them, if not I put them in recycling. The same goes for boxes.I recycle the plastic packaging

I used to save the cards. Then I realized what a pain it was hauling that nonsense when you have to pack up and move.

Plastics go in the recycle bin, inserts and some card art gets saved. The rest goes into the trash.
