Well if he was doing the job he's supposed to then maybe they wouldn't have the need to draft one.

Campbell was doing just fine. He was Gibbs' QB. Little Danny Snyder wants a new toy.

If I was a QB, I think I would pull a John Elway or Eli Manning if the 'Skins drafted me. That organization chews up and spits out quarterbacks!

He is TERRIBLE. He's not a good quarterback. He is decent at best.... I'm not a skins fan, but if i was I'd pray for them to draft a QB.

Jason is serviceable at BEST. I hate the offense hes in. 3 1st rounds rec drafted last year caught how many balls??? I'd rather had it over to COLT, than draft a QB in this draft.
NO DIRTY SANCHEZ!!!! PAAAALEASE!!!!!!

Colt is not a big man, he will struggle too, but I dont want a 1st round drafted QB

Who will want Jason Campbell??? lol. He was average in college at best. In the NFL he is below average. Redskins wouldnt get much for him if anything at all.
Redskins dont need to draft a QB anyway. Colt Brennan is good enough to be the man there. Time for them to give up on Campbell and give Colt the job.

Kind of difficult to really gauge what kind of player Campbell is. How many offenses has this guy had to learn since he came onto the scene? Very few QBs could succeed in his situation.

If the Texans can get a 4th round pick for Sage Rosenfels, I think the Redskins could probably get a 3rd for Campbell.

What room does he have to request a trade? His contract is up after this season.
Deal with it, Jason.

Is everyone really that high up on Colt Brennan, or am I just not sensing the sarcasm very well?
The speculation on his end is just wild. Most of this cards and autographs are going for far higher that most rookies last year. From a scouting perspective it's probably unfounded, but he is a huge fan favorite.

No one knows about Colt really. He could come in and be awesome or he could be the next Jason Campbell.

Considering he only has one receiver, and the offensive line fell apart half-way through the year, Campbell did alright. I think the jury is still out on him.
Cutler may have been an improvement, but no rookie will be. The Redskins are acting like they don't have other needs.

If you are going to evaluate and QB and a WR core of a team atleast get your facts straight and know a little bit about the team.
Jason Campbell has weapons> Randel El isnt the #1 WR. Santana Moss is the #1 WR and a pretty darn good one. He also has Chris Cooley one of the best H-Backs/TE's in the NFL. They also went out and drafted Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly last year in the draft. Campbell has talent around him. He just isnt good enough or smart enough to handle the QB position in the NFL.
Id joke about the Buccs starting QB situation and say atleast Campbell is better then what they have but with the signing of Leftwich I cant say that now lol.

I was saying get another WR INSTEAD of Randle El. Santana Moss is SUPER inconsistent, but has good streaks.
I know they drafted those WRs last year but they didn't help at all.
and You're saying Campbell is better than Leftwich? Leftwich won't even start, he might be cut before the season.

He is the best QB on that roster and they arent going to go out and get anyone better. He will start. He showed last year in Pittsburgh he can still play at a high level. He played very well in Jacksonville and only reason he got canned was because of his lack of mobility. That Jaguars offensive line was horrible.
Leftwich will be the man in Tampa Bay. You can deny it all you want but its a fact. Josh Freeman isnt going to Tampa Bay either.

Freeman wont make it to 19. Even if he does that doesnt mean Tampa will pick him. They have bigger needs on defense and Morris is a defensive coach.
McCown is not better then Leftwich. Leftwich will prove that on the field. He has a better arm, more accurate and makes better decisions. McCown's only plus over Leftwich is mobility.
Leftwich didnt sign with Tampa to be the backup. If he wanted to be a backup he would have stayed in Pittsburgh where they wanted him and he had a better shot of winning. Leftwich wants to be a starter in the NFL and Morris and the Buccs organization knows that.

Actually you are wrong. As of now, McNown is our #1 QB. Leftwich is the 4th QB for camp. Morris said he would add another one for just that. I do not see Leftwich actually winning the job, for some reason our coaching staff thinks highly of McNown.

No we will not. We are going defense, OLB or DT. Everyone thinks Tampa is going after Freeman just because Raheem Morris was coaching at KState while Freeman was there. We will not draft Freeman. I would rather us draft Chase Daniels or Rhett Bomar in the third anyways.

Leftwich will be the starter and is the best option we have. I would like to get some D help at 19 but I won't be real pissed if they take Freeman as long as they don't trade up to get him. I'd like to go with Byron and Luke and see how Johnson does with another year of practice. If they don't think he can take over then draft a QB next year.

You have to look at what defensive players will be there at 19
Clay Mathews
Brian Cushing
Peria Jerry
Vontae Davis
Alphonso Smith
Michael Johsnon
Those are just a few of them that are a possibility at 19. Peria Jerry doesn't really fit the Bates system, I have a feeling the Bucs really like Mathews, we can use a CB like Vontae or Alphonso, and the Bucs supposedly really REALLY like Michael Johnson.
However, if Freeman is there, I think they'll take him. Like I previously said, the Glazers said they're tired of not having a franchise QB, also Raheem knows Freeman.

I would love Cushing, Matthews, Maybin, or Evander Hood. I still think there is a possibility we trade back to gain a second.

Hope that the redskins take Mauluga, but I doubt that he will go that high and I know that the Redskins want Sanchez badly. I really like Jason Campbell and would like to see him stay, but it is probably a foregone conclusion that he will be gone either by trade or will leave via free agency next year.

Any chance you think the Redskins have talked up Sanchez hoping that the guy they REALLY want will fall to 13?
I realize this is asking a bit much considering it is the Redskins.
