I thought for sure there would be a post already, but I heard the news earlier that former Phillies manager Danny Ozark died this morning. I was a kid when he managed in the 70's, 3 straight division winners 76-78, and my first memory of the famous Philly boo birds was when he was introduced in the all star game in Philly and he was booed. I didnt understand why, they were winning divisions but guess that wasnt good enough even back then and to this day, even though the umps scred the Phils in that game, they would have beaten the Dodgers in 77 if he had put Jerry Martin in the game for Luzinski in the 9th. God Bless Danny, now hanging up there with Harry and Richie.
