I saw the latest trailer on star trek, I now know why the halo film wasn't made. GI Joe has a bunch of powered combat suits that look like Mjöllnir armor.

Well, at least you've saved yourself tons of dissapointment. Most of the stuff that is verified looks like crap (The Pit playset is hideous.) But there are some prototypes on hisstank.com for example that have a lot of promise, especially in the realm of customizing.

Yeah, after seeing the trailer, I'm okay with most of the G.I. Joe movie, but I will never like it's Cobra Commander.

The movie toy line will also have repaints of G.I. Joe 25th figures in Rise of Cobra packaging.

Besides the repaints, will there be any new 25th/Classics released? I know on the back of one of the most recent Joe figures, it showed the shadow figure of what appears to be Tunnel Rat.

I agree. After I saw this figure all hope for this movie went down the toilet. How is it a low budget TV show like AOTS can get Cobra Commander and Destro perfect and Hollywood can't?

Because Hollywood doesn't care...plain and simple, people (sadly) will still see it...so that just okays the further bastardization of our favorite characters.
