Joe F -- Halo Series 4 Exclusives at the Spawn Store?

Hey Joe--

Since DnR has chosen not to sell their Pink Hayabusas until SDCC at the end of July, does that mean that we won't see the Pink Hayabusas or any of the other exclusives up for sale at the Spawn store until August after SDCC? Or might the Spawn store end up selling these BEFORE SDCC rolls around? Seems like a long wait... :confused:

DnR also said they will be selling them on their website the week of the Con to anyone on their mailing list or anyone who has bought either of the earlier ones. But they're gonna charge probebly $30 dlvd. for it, like they did the other 2. These aren't gonna be hard to get, they're just gonna be expensive, even retail. Hence why DnR sucks monkey nuts.

They always hold a small amount back even from the retailer the exclusive is for in the TMP wearhouses solely to sell on the online and B&M stores JUST when you think they're gone for good so they can get that last little bit out there. But odds are it won't be out till closer to XMas time after the SDCC is over.

Yeah, but they didn't actually HAVE last year's SDCC exclusives at SDCC either. You got a coupon to buy it off the site, so selling it off the site to non con-goers was easy. This year it may sell out at SDCC.

They say there is only 3,000 on the websites. But they make a few more then that. And since there were 2 exclusives last year, and only 1 this year, that might be why he's saying double. But I'm not posative.

Major headache. If we can get them from the Spawn Store first, I'm hoping DnR says no to haveing another exclusive since they might not sell that well so the Pink ones become non exclsives. The Hayabusa is my fave armor, and I'm irked that the EVA and Mark VI had no problems. But now that my fave armor rendition is out they decide to screw people who really want them out of getting it when they're supposed to.

Its the same deal with the ML Nemesis wave. Alot of people have been wanting that for over a year, and its STILL being delayed to the US. And Punisher is one of my fave characters, and the Cammo one is just badass. But now we have to wait god knows how long to find them or buy them? What's the point of having a release date if you don't stick to it?

Ha ha, I have a broad range of interests :D. Keeps people on their toes, they'll never know WHAT I'm gonna haul next. You could get the newest exclusive Spartan, or a Giant Lizard from Japan. :D

I hope DnR is done. Thats technically they only way you can buy the Pinks though. I think the McFarlane BnM had the others a couple times, but I can't be posative. This is the 1st one they weren't gonna be selling online. But they decided to do both. So you're not alone on this one. I paid $30 a piece dlvd. for both my Pinks, and I know people that paid less then $20 from the Spawn Online Store. So I was kinda pissed too. I'm just hoping these come BEFORE DnR sells theirs so we all buy it from TMP and DnR gets screwed out of alot of their sales, and hopefully discounts or clearances them. Funny thing though, when they had extra Pink Mark VIs, they called them "destressed packages" cause they had a few deformities, they were the same price as the originals. Wt* is that?

I don't see target taking the pinks unless they're marketed as light red. Red or white would be target's color of choice for their exclusives. I can definitely see them getting an exclusive box set, target really likes to offer these type of exclusives. Maybe target could be the financial backer for the warthog to make it out, a red team warthog set with two spartans manning it, all wrapped up in a really cool window box.

Naw, Joe is extremely busy now adays since they did some cut backs at TMP. He doesn't have that much time to wreak havoc on the forums anymore. He'll be around soonish I imagine.

Happened at Series 2. He gave us a date when it was available. Basically most of us didn't get a chance to buy the figures because the servers kept crashing.

Series 3 went a little better, he didn't gave us a date. Most of us got what we want (even though I still missed the orange Hayabusa and silver mark VI).

Partly what he said. They're pissed a couple got on Ebay, imagine the Spawn Store selling them BEFORE the site themselves does. It's a small kick in the nads, but still a kick in the nads. Plus, the less money they get from me the better.

Also agreeing with that checkmark thing. Can't wait to put S4 to rest and say I got em all. Only one I'm missing is Pink.

I think the date thing is iffy. I'm on the fence. I really wanna order the Pink from the Spawn store, but I know if they DON'T give me a date, then I will probebly miss it cause I won't be awake in time. And if they DO give us a date, then the server will probebly go to hell and scalpers would get more then half of them.

So I don't know which I want... Maybe if Joe would PM the date to a few select boardies he deems worthy, and if I'm on that list it'd be awesome. And us be sworn to secrecy. I just don't wanna buy em from DnR if I don't have to.
