What's the scoop on the future of the Ultimate line? I know all the current stories are being wrapped up in the Ultimatum arc and then every book is cancelled. When do the new books start, which ones are they, will the new Ultimate line also be connected and end in a final story?

Reboot.
Meaning they are giving you a decent chance to get out, before they start messing it up completely.

No, I mean the creative teams are changing, they've realized that the "Ultimate" universe isn't really all that different and they're starting over.

Since we're on the subject -
Who do you guys think will kill Magneto? (If it ever happens)
Me, either Wolverine, Hulk, or Cap. Spiderman getting the kill would be a weird swipe for readers.

Any idea on who they're hiring?

I believe they're "killing off" Peter as Spidy for a time. I dont think he'll be dead but they are making it seem like he is. I'm not sure who will kill Mags but it should be an X-Man. Not Wolverine though. Thats always been funny that he could always get a few swipes in on the one man that could probably send him to the sun.
I also find it funny that Mags can job Thor so bad in the UU that Thor has become cannon fodder.
Speaking of funny. Someone who watched Loeb singlehandedly botch such a great concept as the UU by making it as close to 616 could almost breathe a sigh of relief thinking that the UU will be re-tooled by having Millar back. Fact of the matter is Loeb will still be in control over the majority of the UU when it comes back around. He's writing like 3 or 4 of the books.
He has threeway sex pictures of Stan Lee, Hugh Jackman and Jack Kirby's corpse on a merry go round I swear.

USM doesn't end in 133, there is a two part requeim story that I guess finishes JJJ's story of USM

I'm getting that feeling more and more form M lately (Stryfe's back, Apocalypse is backNM are back, Phoenix is back)... It's a Brand New Day... or it might be just me.

It's a reboot where all the stuff that happened before still counts. I'm not sure of the specifics just yet, or why Nick Fury has both his arms.
Either way, I'm curious. I'm also completely fascinated by the "Ultimatum" miniseries. It's hands-down the absolute worst comic book I've ever read, yet I can't not read it. I'm not sticking with it out of any strong desire to see what happens, it's just so monumentally awful that it feels historic.

Millar and Bendis?
This may turn out to be simply awesome.
"Old Man Logan" is one of my all time favourite Wolverine stories!

Looking forward to seeing them bring that home, but the last issue didn't exactly bode well for a decent ending.

I loved the arc, beginning to end. The fight between Logan and Skull was decent as well.
Looking forward to the next double sized issue.
