It could just be my connection here at work, but I don't see any of the pictures on your blog. They all appear as broken links.

I went on Sunday and only spent an hour there. It was cool reliving my childhood again. LOL.

IMO, i feel the Pasadena convention center was way too small for that event. I heard stories about how crowded it was on Saturday.

Good times tho.

Show was cool. Was there on Sat, waited about 2 hours to get in. They only had 3 box office tickets booth ran by old ladies. No wonder it took forever. The convention center was also definitely too small, but then again it was only vendors selling stuff and Hasblo.

It's probably your connection at work, they work fine on my end.

I also attended but w/ Primus package and spent the last 4 days or so in/out of the event. All in all it was cool. I spent WAYYY more than I had anticipated...ending at about over 1k. I don't think I would travel out of state for it, but who knows until next year. The Botcon exclusives are $$$ right now.

I don't know much about flipping items but how much were the exclusives at the con and how much are they going for on ebay?

Thanks, you were right. Got home and the pics appear just fine. Odd that the content block work would snag the pics and exclude them, but leave the text alone, and allow access to your blog! Oh well, whatever.

Great pics! Looks like you had fun at the show. My problem with attending this show has always been the narrowed focus on just Transformer/robot stuff. At least SDCC has enough variety for any 'genre' fan to rarely get bored, but I'd imagine one afternoon of BotCon and I'd certainly have my fill. Don't get me wrong, as I'm a huge fan of all things Transformers, but I can't imagine an entire convention devoted to just that. Again, I'd imagine being bored after a few hours.

I thought the same way you did going to the event. But once I was there, I enjoyed it. For the most parts, I enjoy fan conventions. The only one I hated was LA Anime and it was because the attendees were too serious about their costumes and everyone seemed to be in a negative mood. Here's the report (http://www.nerdsociety.com/2009/01/08/la-anime-09-recap/) from that
