Might as well lump this kind of stuff into one thread.

Tiger made a nice charge to get to the top of the leaderboard only to pick up his first bogey of the final round. He's a shot back. For as bad as people say he is playing, he continually finds himself in the Top 10.

And Byrd hits the shot of his life from the fairway for Eagle.

Chip in for Eagle on 11, Tiger 1 off the lead again.

Tiger is my only hope not to have a disasterous week in Fantasy Golf

Tiger at his worst is still better than 99% of professional golfers.

Baring Byrd holeing out from the fairway on 18, Tiger wins.

Apparently ESPN has been pushing this idea that Phil Mickleson winning this weekend after his wife was diagnosed with cancer would be a more dramatic event than Tiger Woods playing 36 holes last year in the final round and playoffs on a shredded leg, having to make a putt on 18 2 days in a row to avoid losing.

I'm sure it would be very special for Phil to pull it off, but I have a hard time believing that it would be more dramatic than what Woods did last year.

Last year's US Open would almost be impossible to top. It wasn't just that Tiger won on a bum leg, but he played lights out on a bum leg down the stretch.

I think Tiger takes a great thrill in beating Lefty, and to be honest, I think Phil is afraid of Tiger.

Can Tiger have already eliminated himself from the US Open? He's at +4, while Weir is making the course look like a video game. Tiger won't tee off again until 4:00 pm tomorrow.

The weather really impacted the way things are going this year. With all the leaders getting a fair amount of their second rounds in later today, could be very hard for Tiger or anyone else that finished this morning to get into contention.

Tiger played like an old man today. Gone was the wreckless foot on the accelerator playing. He saw that Kim was playing wildly and taking big risks and he knew the score was set at -12. So, he played fairways and the center of the greens and used the Par 5 to get the lead.

Not human. What he did to Harrington today was criminal.

He's won 3 of his last 4 tournaments.
70 for his career and he finally wore the shirt I got for Christmas! :)

It would take the worst 2 rounds of Tiger's Major career for him to lose this tournament.

He is ahead by as many strokes as people are under par for the first 36 holes.

The guy is just amazing. I only just started playing (and thus paying attention) last year and I'm in awe watching him play. That shot on the 16th with Harrington was sick last week at the Bridgestone was sick.

Tiger only up 2

Tiger played it safe almost the entire round. I think he tried to stay away from the big number and see where everyone else posted.

Yang made 2 of the greatest shots of his life on 14 and 18. Amazing round.

Tiger tried to get cute and play conservative as soon as he got the lead. Doing so, he left himself without very many scoring chances. He needs to go back to being aggressive the way he was before 2006. He's had close calls before because of it and it finally bit him.

Yeah, a loss was coming, but I didn't see coming in this fashion.

He just couldn't get that one shot.
