OT MR helmets stink????

I sold my EP3 MR helmet and the guy who bought it states it smells. I never actually put it on i just put it on display. I live in a smoke free house so just curious do they smell or what??? LOL :D

There is a company that makes a very special product for these situations that you may want to tell him about. (He may have to go to a specialty store to get it.

MR helmets have a smell to them. They all do. Ya know that smell you get when you open a new spawn fig? same type of deal. It's either the smell of the paint they use or whatever they use to seal the paint like a clear coat. Tell the guy to unclinch, if it's not in a plexi case the smell will dissapate over time.
