Yeah Mezco dropped them for a reason, they probably got smart and realized they'd be pegwarmers.


MCF take notice drop the pillz before any more damage is done.

This game is so completely off my radar, so I have no idea how popular it is.

I know there was a rage when it first came out, but is there still a big enough community of players to support it? Maybe they felt there wasn't, at least not big enough to support such a wide array of variations.

I'm sure it would outsell Guitar Hero figures by at least 2:1... but I guess that wouldn't be saying much.

I do think it's good because it's a high re-use property like Halo. The figures could be in the 3" range and they could make many accessories for the base figures.

Maybe, but any company worth their salt should be wary about picking up a license that was dropped without any stated reason, after Mezco had put so much effort into it.

doesn't matter if they rot on the pegs, the toy companies have already made the money they're going to if the stores or dumb enough to buy them, right?

Not always. Sometimes the stores have the 'power' to return, or even renegotiate the price (if they have to mark them down). Also it's a black eye against the company when they want to solicit another product.

I still think Todd should be working on the God of War III license. It seem like all NECA wants to do with God of War is make more variants of Kratos. Todd could do wonders for this line and think about the boxsets he could give us. Please Todd do whatever you have to do get the God of War III license.

The game is so wierd! Yet fun... Im not sure if I would buy figures based off of it though... But Im sure my gf would be all over them.

YES. Todd needs to get back to making video game characters that can really showcase TMP's style of highly detailed creatures and such. I think some God of war figures from TMP would be great since there is so many monsters and just cool designs. Just as long as they don't end up being 3 inches tall (halo).

Sony and Nintendo figs will never happen form MCF until Halo is done with, They probably want to keep good ties with MS.
