I stopped by my local TRU last night and looked at some of the SP's on the pegs. Now, I haven't bought an SP for the last year and half due to the lower quality as of late. But I immediately noticed that the quality on the current figure series I was looking at looked like it was back to older higher standards.

I didn't notice any unpainted colored plastic parts primarily. All the uniforms looked painted as a whole like before. Some of the current figures did look small still, but some of the older larger poses were able to be fitted in the current card-back style packaging bubbles.

Is it me or has the quality of SP's improved? If so, I might start buying again. :)

From what I've seen very recently, I'd say they are improved over the total abominations that were the unpainted plastic and/or smaller scaled ones that came out a while back. They still don't look to be quite to the level of where they were at their peak, though. These latest ones are acceptable to me, but I really can't wait for them to get rid of the cardboard packaging.

Totally agreed. If they get rid of the cardboard packaging, I hope we can get "make ups" for those smaller midget sized out of scale abominations especially the Patrick Ewing Legends figure.

All that time waiting for them to finally make Patrick and then he gets released and is the size of an Iverson figure.
