View Full Version : I Just Got Back From the TRU Warehouse Clearance..........

..............and it was a total waste of time. TRU was having a warehouse "clearance" in their Flanders, NJ warehouse. I went there with a couple of boardies,and man, were we disappointed. We went in there expecting to find old McFarlanes, or Marvel Legends or anything half decent and all they had was the same stuff they have in stores now. You would think they would have something alittle better (I mean anything would have been nice) in their main warehouse. They made such a big deal about it, and were saying it was going to be amazing. I've lost alot of respect for TRU after this, lol.

For al you NJ/NY boardies, stay clear if you're thinking of going. :(

I gotta admit, I would never think that TRU would keep a bunch of old figures in a warehouse.

Everyone who was there expected something. The employees told me that they would have things like Wiis there. A few people on line said they were there to look for Wiis. I was only there to look for a cheap TF Unicron, because people were saying that they shipped the unsold ones back to the warehouse for the clearance (didn't happen apparantly).

i wouldaq never went anyway, TRU never had a good clearance.

You should never EXPECT anything good on clearance. There's usually a reason stuff ends up on clearance.

remember the super clearance TRU.com had a couple years back? That was an excellent sale.
I remeber getting a ***** load of SP's for $2 a pop, some mint helmets for $8 and the House of M box set for $10 to list a few.
