I've decided that I'm finally going to get to Foxboro for the start of training camp. Anyone ever gone on the first day? Are there designated times for autographs, shake hands, etc. ?

I hoping for a huge haul.

One final question...Do they allow video cameras to record practice?

Players sign after and only after practice. Usually there is a designated squad that will sign. One practice it could be only the O-Line....one practice it could be only WR. There are some usuals that will sign every practice like Bruschi...and Brady will only sign a very small handful each practice....and only items not worth anything...and usually only for kids. Some practices I have come home with 5 autos...some 0. There are also usually double sessions on the first day...you might want to stick around for both. When you get there..get in line early and get a spot on the GRASS up front by the ropes. Usually the first day is a good signing day.
