I played rugby for three years in college (wing forward - #7 - or Opposite flanker) and I religiously watch rugby on Setanta sports. (along with Galic Football, LOL!)

I also had kicking responsibilities as well.

My Geordies have a looooong climb back to the top but I was pleased to see one of my favorite players (Owen) sign with a quality club in United.

I've been waiting for this game, only to have the McNair coverage interrupt it. How many times did I need to hear guys who had little if anything to do with him say they don't know enough right now to comment? It took 20 minutes for me to figure out they'd switched the game to ESPN2.

Anyway- tough defensive game. Both teams were covering the field well and popping each other. The US obviously expected this kind of game, because they came out kicking for goal at every opportunity. Those games aren't much fun to play in unless you love hitting everything that moves, but it feels really good when that final whistle blows and you're up.
