Anyone who has listened to The Edge 102 in Toronto knows Martin Streek. He was found dead today in his apartment at age 45:

He was always a great listen and really had a passion for alt rock. I listened to him many a night through the past 15 or so years. RIP Martin!

The alt rock station here switched formats to country nine years ago and still has all the same DJ's.

I would be happy if they killed themselves.

Traitor bastards.

There are zero decent stations in the state of California. They all suck.

DJ's & radio stations that support good music are unfortunately all a dying breed...

What's with all the snarky Bull-**** lately? I mean with Michael Jackson you pretty much accept it, but for some random radio guy, do you guys really need to whip out the "boo hoo" and "he won't be missed"? It's be one thing if it were humorous, but GD, it's just vitriolic. I think somebody needs a hug.

Well I for one, am really going to miss him. 102.1 The Edge is by far the best radio station in the area, and he was always one of the best things to listen to. :(

RIP
