While not wanting to dismiss your frustration, there are also other comics which might be worth attention (http://board.spawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=521667). Also, later could mean better, it could also mean Todd is in over his head right now with Haunt, Image United and alle the rest...

I would take 4 less Haunt variants to get Spawn out sooner :) but I am excited and eager for both. It sucks that Spawn was on such a good pace for really the past couple of years. You would have a delay here or there but this is one of the longer ones we have seen in a long time...

Sad to say...Spawn is dead, gone and mostly forgotten...except for the same 22,000 chumps like me who still buy the book, hoping this will be the issue it finally recaptures some of the glory of days long past.

Time accept the fact it just ain't gonna happen. :(

I just dont like being told something by someone who knows damn well it isn't going to happen....

Also, this plot has loads of potential, but needs to actually give some sort of idea about what is actually going on. The way things are going in Spawn gives me the vibe that there is no official plot and they're kind of just "going with it" issue to issue.....Even Todd said he may bring Al back depending on our feedback.........

Todd is rather notorius for letting scripts fall behind. I don't think we can blame the artist or assume that Todd is pencilling. His Sam and Twitch arc had a 2 year hiatus in the middle. Batman/Spawn 2006 never got written, we were all told he had great ideas, but great ideas are not a book.

When Todd announced he was taking over writing on Spawn I had a feeling that this would inevitably happen. Let's just wait and see if it comes out next week (is it next week or the 30th?) as promised or if it has further delays...
