What's up Mark? I haven't chimed in much lately or done much trading, but I'm still collecting here in central Mississippi. I'm only collecting hockey, I've passed on several NFL 10 chases including Bledsoe, Green, and J. Lewis.

The Wal-Mart in Magee, MS was having a giveaway for a Steve McNair signed football and had a opened variant of him in the case. He's seen around now and then and has done signings here in the past since he played H.S. ball nearby in Mount Olive and college at Alcorn.

Actually never been to the Walmart in Gulfport, but do goto Gulfport about 1 a month to hit the outlet stores. I do know on the westbank that they had the 12" Moss and mcnabb and some regular nfl 9 at Target. My local EB games @ lakeside had some Nfl 9 regulars.

Nope I have to work tommorrow so I will be going by to see if they got the McNair and Holmes in but Sunday is reserved for a full day of Sunday Ticket. I will get a new fig count tommorrow as well and let everyone know whats left. Should be plenty thought the only ones actually on the shelve were three moss and 1 Maning the rest were up above the shelves so assistance would be needed to get them down.

I could fix it if it broke but I can't even get that good a deal:p I work in the service dept (10 yrs and counting). I use to have ebx in wolfchase on lock down when their cases came in for probally the last 4 series in football and probally all the way back to series 6 on baseball. They use to be the only game store in town where the varinats actually hit the shelves. but on NFL 8 and cooperstown it seemed like they never got them in till weeks after gamestop so I gave up. and didn't even look there for nfl 9. As far as the Manning Two packs. Don't worry there will be plenty at wally world and TRU. probally the only thing that the TRU guys don't scalp. Where do you work by the way.

I work at Finish Line at Wolfchase and just quit the Malco there a few weeks ago as well (back to school!) I'm going to see if I can get in touch with one of my friends who works overnight at the Target in Forest Hill and see if they carry any SPs. I know they didn't used to, but he said they carry tons more stuff now that they renovated the store.

Don't know what 2 packs your looking for but most if not all can still be found around town. I know that the Wallmart in Millington had tons and I meen tons of Favre/Urlacher and McCaffery/Thomas. I have seen several Gannon/Brooks, Jeter/Garciapara, and Sosa/Helton around town. I think most of the Strahan/McNabb got snatched up when Toys R Us had them miss priced at 9.98 but There should still be alot around.

I checked a Walmart last week and found about 3 cases of NFL 8. No chases though. I was out of town all weekend, so I'll prob head around sometime this week in search of NFL 9.

I live within 10-15 minutes of 2 Target stores and within 15-20 minutes of 2 TRUs. Gulfport, as well as Biloxi (I go that way about twice a month) are good places to find SPs. Too bad I had tell you guys. Now, I'll probably never find any.

Here are a few extra figs if anyone is interested...NHLPA...Messier...Kariya.....Hasek x 2......Jagr x 2....Amonte......also have (2) Richard Petty hobby version with the Yankees jersey. The hockey figs are not mint but overall displayable with the exception of the amonte..it is pretty rough around the edges. Im doing this from memory so if any interest just LMK and I can dig them out.

Tonight I saw my first Tim Brown with no towel! It was at the Target in Covington. I hope we get to see the Manning 2-packs. I'm sure they'll go quick in this area. I'll check Walmart in the morning. I may just have to drive around to see if they turn up anywhere else. I've seen posts where they turned up at TRU, too.

By the way, I left the Brown right behind the Holt figure. It was on the front of the peg when I found it.

Also, did I read a post correctly? Is NFL10 out already? I read a post where a guy said he saw 6 regular Roy Williams figs.

Yup. It's a new one on Hwy 21, just off I-12 on the way to Hammond. It's a big strip mall with a JC Penney, Belk, Ross, Marshall (I think), a pet store and a restaurant chain called Moe's. Walmart's on Hwy 190, totally far enough from Target to not even be a factor.

About Moe's, I did try it. It reminded me of Chipotle's, but it was pretty different because it offered more than just burritos. I forgot what I had (wasn't a burrito), but I'll be going back to try other things on the menu.

I'm going to drive around today to see if other stores got more SPs. I'm hoping to score a Manning 2-pack, but here in the New Orleans area I think they'll be pretty popular. Even among non-SP collectors.

been to find around here Amazon has a great deal in stock 14.99 plus shipping and tax came up to around 21.00. They also still have the Holmes and McNair 12 in 29.99 plus tax and free shipping on them. Sure beats the hassle of looking.

I found the Manning 2-pack here in the Covington, Louisiana Walmart. There were 3 total, I bought one. I'll try to get to Target to see what they have, later today. I may just wind up going to the beach since I have the kids all weekend to myself (Mom's Reserve weekend in Biloxi).

On Thursday afternoon, I drove to Mobile, AL to help my father-in-law pick up his cruisin' car (34 Ford) from Boomer's. I couldn't stop anywhere because he didn't want to stop, either coming or going. We drove past Hank Aaron Stadium! I got a kick out of that. He's one of my favorite players when I was a kid.

Went to Biloxi this week. Their GameStop had nothing new, and older sets on clearance. NBA 3" series 1 for $.99, and two Red Wings figs for $2.99 (Yzerman w/cup and I think Chelios). I used to go on road trips to Montana (they have Shopko stores) and I used to have great luck finding SPs regs & variants. I can make some phone calls to see who took my place at my old job, but I can't promise anything because I was the only SP collector at the job. I was pretty lucky before, but I don't know how many more collectors popped up along I-25.
