Gaithersburg. No chases left. Employee opened the 2 cases and had his buddy get the 2 chases (one of which I saw was Aikman couldnt tell the other) and put the rest of the figs in the back then left. So I went in the stockroom and got the 2 Barry Sanders regs I wanted and took them to the counter. Then the guy who bought the chases who I guess is a regular customer saw that I was getting 2 Legends that werent on the shelf and told the manager that what I was getting wasnt on the shelf so she asked me where I got them from. Needless to say I was pretty pissed off about the whole thing but I got my 2 Barry's. There was also a MLB 13 case but apparently no chases in there because dude didnt buy anything from that case only the 2 Legends chases. If the guy who got the chases is reading I am interested to know what the other chase was. I hope it isnt the Barry cause that is the only one I want.

Found legends today at Glen Burnie and Route40 TrU's. They were of course picked but 2 cases in each store, no Johnny U's and only 1 LT but he had some minor damage if you're not an opener.

The TrU on 40 had 2 Dawkins/Vick packs as well. Yeah the store employee at GB told me they brought the cases out around 3:30 and someone came in and picked it apart. I did not make it there until 6:30 myself. There was alot of Elways and Aikmans left at both stores.

Went to Frederick TRU today. They have 3 cases coming on the truck tonight (nfl legends). Went to the Rockville TRU and they were unloading three cases. Got 2 Aikman Variants and 1 Barry Sanders. Went to Langley Park TRU and they only got 1 case. Got the Aikman Variant there. Then drove to Silver Spring store, they said they got one case that someone came in and bought the whole thing.

I got the last legends fig at the Owings Mills TRU - Sanders reg. The workers I talked to were laughing about the people that are waiting in the morning when the store opens and running to the toy aisle. That store is dead to me, since I have a job. I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm never going to find NFL variants at retail. The only variants I've EVER found at retail were 2 NBA figs, and I left them since I don't collect NBA.

I can't believe how bad the Wesminter/Hampstead Target and Wal Marts suck. They didn't carry the last series of NFL, haven't carried the Legends, and doesn't look good for NFL 11. All I have seen are peg warmer NBA, NBA Legends and old Nascar. I have to drive 35 minutes to the nearest TRU just to look to see if they have anything I like. GS has the legends, does anyone know if they have NFL 11 yet?

Old Town Alexandria. I have 2 Targets nearby (one that DOESN'T cherry pick) and a Gamestop (that cherry picks). The GS keeps their figs under $12 which is good. Target on S. Richmond Hwy (RT-1) sometimes has figs, sometimes not. Right now....not! Target on N. Richmond Hwy (Potomac Yards) always has figs, but they go fast. Today they had nothing.

Anyone know the release date for NFL11 at GS ... if they are going to carry them at all..

The GS near me in Hampstead has Gretz Oilers and Kings for $2.99 along with some Leafs and some others. Most of the B-ball last series and B-ball legends are $5.99. All they've had in NFL is Legends but only Sanders and Elway $12.99.

I can't believe how bad the Wesminter/Hampstead Target and Wal Marts suck. They didn't carry the last series of NFL, haven't carried the Legends, and doesn't look good for NFL 11. All I have seen are peg warmer NBA, NBA Legends and old Nascar. I have to drive 35 minutes to the nearest TRU just to look to see if they have anything I like. GS has the legends, does anyone know if they have NFL 11 yet?

I know, I live in Westminster. The only place I've seen that has any NFL figs is the TRU in Owings Mills, and the workers there told me they have people waiting for the store to open every morning looking for SP's. I'm not a fanatic about these things, so I don't have to worry about ever finding a variant at retail.

Target on Martin Blvd has NBA Legends for $4.46 and 2 World Series 2 packs for $9.99.

I just found a Lamar Odom variant at KB Eastpoint on clearance for $5.99. They also have a ton of NBA and Cooperstown 2 on clearance.

Anyone spot NFL 11 anywhere other than TRU Belair?? I went to Catonsville TRU and the guy said they had in 4 cases and a couple guys got them all!!! (Not a single fig was left on the pegs of NFL 11 geez)

On another note .. anyone looking for a 12" Bettis? I hid it behind the 12" Holmes figs just in case .. Looks pretty sweet, I almost bought it but I'm not that big of a NFL fan to spend that much heh

I am writing this at 4:32 on Wednesday afternoon. I just left the TOYS R US on Rockville Pike. Two sealed cases of NFL 11 came in today, and they will be checked in after 5pm. The kid there told me they are going to try to not put them out until the NFL Legends (all Elway & Sanders) are sold. In the past, I have had not trouble getting them to bring things out, but I cannot go the rest of the week.

Dont know if anyone is in need but I stopped at the Wal-Mart in Germantown this afternoon and got 2 12" Urlachers for $5 a piece. I was bummed that I missed out on the McFarlane store sale when they had them for $10 a piece plus shipping so I was very happy when I spotted these today. They had about 4-6 left. They are not with the regular SportsPicks they are near the Elvis and Nascar figs on the bottom shelf.

Wblaze, have you gone back to the Rockville Pike store yet? I wish I checked this thread earlier as I was in that neighborhood today. I am sure they wouldnt have my Alex Smith anyway though.

Went to Rockville TRU today and all they had were 2 Brady's, 2 Roaf's, and 2-3 of Moss. While I was there they brought out a case of MLB 11 with the white or gray jersey Piazza. Didnt pick up the Piazza so its still there if anyone needs it.

You don't get everything @ Rt. 40, I get some stuff there. Few and far between but sometimes. The Wal Mart @ Carroll Island has Nascar 5 for $5 - $7 and 2 - 12" Casey Kayne figs for $10. All they carry is Nascar.
