I actually have 2 other friends within the GB area that collect also. They do not belong to the board...but so far just in GB alone, 3 walmarts, 2 gamestops, and 2 Eb's and all regular figures. Mostly still alot of NFL 8 and just now seeing NFL 9.

Scoajan...I use to have lots of luck at the Arundel Mills WALMART when I was there from 02 to 03...
you gotta hit them up at odd hours, like after 9PM on weekdays...They usually pull out pallets full of toys around that time....Also, if you can get in the back once they turn the garden area into storage for the XMAS stuff, there are always pallet loads back there...Tough to get back there though....Have fun :)

I live in Middle River.

The Pulaski Hwy TRU never has chase figs unless they are damaged. Any Orioles or Ravens figs are always scalped up.

I have had so-so luck with the Wal-Mart right across the street from me(Carroll Island).

I just won an ebay aution for a MOMC Ray Lewis. I thought i wasnt going to win because i wasnt gonna be home when the auction ended, but i won anyways. Now my Ravens collection is complete and now i can focus on all the other figures.

Annapolis Mall is one of my stomping grounds since i live close by. I have left a ton of NFL 8 and cooperstown variants there lately. Only one i grabbed was a white lewis from the EB. Someone beat me to the NFL9 though.

Geppi's off of Rt40 I thought did but its been a long time since I was there. I have not seen the Pro tech cases anywhere around the area. Online is the only spots I have seen them....BTW if anyone cares, the TRU and Gamestop in Glen Burnie just had regular figures. Mostly Urlacher, Holmes, Culpepper, and Johnson (orange!)

Baseball Card Outlet on Eastern Ave. just past Eastpoint Mall had Protech cases but I haven't seen any there lately.

I have NEVER seen a variant around here because the dirty old scalpers arrive at ALL the stores and buy EVERYTHING chase or variant....its really annoying.

I live in Baltimore City. Anyone who lives around here knows if there is a Ravens figure, they wind up at the flea market for $30 and up. There was this guy who was selling a regular Ray Lewis for $75 at the sidewalk sale at White Marsh Mall. The scalpers actually have the schedule memorized, because they know when to call, and when to arrive. I actually have a job and can't make it to the mall at 11am to buy toys to sell for inflated prices. :)

Try Chucks Comics on Mace Ave near Eastern Ave, that's my place to get anything. Other than that, i go to Ebay now. If anyone who lives in MD wants to make any trades, drop me a line, i'm looking for a Steven Davis Panthers. I've got some goodies for trade.

I went to the Baltimore Comic Con this yr and 3 dealers had a Tejada Orioles....40 - 50 each! Amazing, goto Ebay and its like 20 max? You're dead on, I have only seen 1 Jamal in the stores and it was damaged. I just preorder thru Ebgames when it comes to Baltimore figs since we live here, its hard to get em'.

You pay right away but its all regular figures. I have never seen any Chases on there but all the figures are packaged great. They use these air inflated things and so far (hope I dont jinx myself) they have been great. The figures are normally 11.99 and if you hit the site at the right time, they sometimes offer FREE shipping. I got Ray Lewis from Series 5 that way for me, my brother-in-law, and my best friend.

I went to TRU on Pulaski Highway today. I met a man who was "picking up" some NFL figures for his "son" today. lol I was wondering if any of you is this man. We both arrived at the same time and went straight to the Mcfarlane isle. I saw 2 Manning 2 packs and picked one up. After that he picked one up also and went to the register. I also saw a bunch of NFL 9's. Scalpers or TRU employees got to them first because there werent enough new NFL 9's on the pegs to make one case. I was also looking at an Urlacher figure and realized that it was missing a hand. I was going to buy it but i then saw that the hand was in the bottom of the bubble, is this worth anything. Probably not. O well. My last question is which Chad Johnson figure is the variant: Orange nameplate, or White nameplate. Thanks!

toynk definately had the most and had tons of boxes more that weren't on display. there were tons of sp's. nothing like seeing 3 rows of astros ryans. but you could find pretty much any figure you wanted there, except the really hard to finds. they even had a snow brady for $175 at one of the random booths.

but if you love toys, definately the place to be. save for the comic-con, it is now my annual vacation. not only is it huge for action figures and toys, but san diego is a beautiful city.

I really have been wanting to go to that, just never get time off at the job or its a money factor. But they do have a comic con here in Bmore. Its not nearly as large as Philly(wizard) but its decent. But lemme save ya the time, only about 5-6 toy dealers and they do not give ya a break on price. Trust me...I posted earlier 3 dealers had Tejada O's for 40-50ea! Outrageous. I go for comics and figures but usually walk out with A LOT of books. BTW, does anyone know of a TOY Convention within the state or surrounding states instead of the local malls wkd shows?

Regular Brooks and Jamal for $16.99I live 5 minutes away from there, and know the owner. He always overprices his SP's, ever since he sold the NFL5 Ray Lewises for $15.99 & $39.99 for the variant, and the prices went up. I was thinking of getting an Ogden there, but I see he found out about the rarity and jacked up the prices even more. The ridiculous part is people pay his prices even though they could do much better on Ebay. $25 for the Ogden is about right, though.

If any of you are close to a "Champs Sports" in a mall near you, check them out (if ya want Ravens and are willing to pay!) I was at the Towson Town Center today and Columbia Mall and both of them had Jamal White Jersey's. They were going for 22 but if you needed one, there might be one closer to your region. Also, there was 4 Ogdens at the Towson one. It was going for 15....that was decent enough price for me so I got one. Hope this helps some....

I checked TRU in Towson and Rt. 40 and they both had nothing special. I always goto the one on Rt. 40 but i thought i'd chech the TRU towson. I forgot how much more bigger the Mcfarlane section in TRU towson was compared to the one on Rt. 40. I also checked the Gamestop on Taylor ave. and on Joppa rd. Nothing again. O well better luck next time.

This is the 2nd time I've been screwed up ending up not getting the right variant. The first time was when NHL 2 came out and I found a Black Thorton which turned out not to be the variant either. Im kinda salty about this one cause I really wanted that Double Star Roy Williams as did a lot of people because its a great looking figure. But instead of being able to trade down to a reg we now have to trade up to get a figure that still hasn't even been officially called the variant. Im sure it will turn out to be but it sucks. Oh well just have to get one. LOL!

How bout those Ravens? Chalk up another victory! But boy did they suck in the first half. Boller finally came alive in the 2nd Half and woke up the Defense for a change. Bout time the offense took control. Sucks about Musa and hopefully Jamal isnt out long with that high ankle sprain.
