7/20/08 A sad day JT traded for 2 round pick and 6th round in 2010

05/13/2009 A very happy day JT signed by the Dolphins after being released by the Skins for 1.1 Mil!

9/21/2009 Ted Ginn as sealed the fact that he is a worthless piece of donkey **** that probably could not have a career in the AFL but somehow is the 9th pick over all for the Dolphins! Thanks Cameron, may you die of gonherea and rot in hell!

well, i'm going to the bills dolphins game on oct. 17 and the dolphins should win this one. Only thing i'm worried about is wearing a phins jersey and getting out of there alive. Last time i went there were these two little kids no more than 10 yrs. old with holding dolphins signs. 3 drunk bills fans grabbed the signs and ripped them up. I haven't had any real problems yet besides having beer thrown at me. Oh well. Theres no reason that the dolphins should lose this game.

All those not watching the game, Lamar Gordon hurt his shoulder in the first and he is out. The defense is playing well again. A.J. Feely still stinks.

Im a huge Fins Fan but remember Coach W. is no longer repsonible for player/personel moves so I dont think he is the idiot who is playing Interception boy aka Feeley. He is horrible 3 games five pics two returned for TD's and there is Feidler who is 35 and 17 as a starter for my team. I dont care if we have our first losing season in thirty years as long as we beat the JETS.

Fieldler should be QB, JF is probably the least appreciated QB other than Brad Johnson and of course Trent Dilfer. Obviously with Ricky Smoking himself right out of the NFL, that hurt the Dolphins offense big time! The defense is still pretty solid but you have to be able to put up points, bottom line!

I just don't understand why fiedler gets the bump after throwing 2 interceptions, okay I do understand it because he was ineffective, but Feeley has thrown 2 that went back for td's and threw 2 more in the last game versus the steelers. How about a little even footing. If you are gong to pull Fiedler for bonehead throws bench feeley.

Oh and if you didn't read it yet Gordon is done for the season so now the dolphins running game is on the back of Leonard Henry, a guy they waived a week ago. HOOOOOO-RAY INJURIES!!!!

Maybe they can swing a deal for Larry Johnson. The chiefs are supposedly looking for a veteran LB, DB or WR so I don't know who the phins could give up except Booker, since his talent is being wasted right now, and a draft pick.

The problem isn't Jay or AJ or Rickey smoking across Asia. The problem is an offensive line that makes FIU's look like probowlers. Rickey couldn't run behind this line, Walter Payton couldn't run behind this line, hell, God couldn't average 2 yards a carry behind this line. Spielman blew it by not making the line a priority. And Wayne H. doesn't care cause he is still making money. If he cared the Fins wouldn't be near last every year in signing bonuses (I know, go ask the Redskins how that can work out), but it seems he doesn't even make the effort.

Jay Fiedler: Likely to Start This Week
RotoWire.com Staff - RotoWire.com
Tuesday, September 28, 2004

Update: Fiedler is likely to take over the quarterbacking duties against the Jets this Sunday, ESPN's John Clayton reports.

Recommendation: An official announcement could come on Wednesday, but given A.J. Feeley's horrendous play, it certainly won't come as a surprise.

Go Ahead And Gripe ... At Least You Care
September 29, 2004

I know how you feel today. You feel rotten. You feel betrayed. You feel as if your best friend has moved away and left no return address. You're a fan of the Miami Dolphins, and it's so hard to deal with all those conflicting emotions.

See, if this were another team in another city you'd be seeing a major case of apathy. So the team is bad. Who cares? We'll turn to something else. Easy. No problem.

But it's different with the Dolphins. There is a passion that runs deep, a passion that makes every victory a euphoric experience and every loss the worst kind of nightmare. In past seasons, there has been more euphoria than nightmares. Much more. But now that has all changed. Now the Dolphins are reaching new lows. Now they are 0-3 for the first time in 35 years and who knows how far this downward spiral will take us?

One thing, though, remains so vividly clear. Nobody is going to stop caring. That's why the disgust is so strong. That’s why the screams are so loud. The Dolphins are one of those rare franchises that grips its fans and won't let go.

There is a lot of talk in South Florida these days about the Miami Heat and its new superstar Shaquille O’Neal. There is legitimate excitement. But don't lose sight of the fact that the Heat is still vying for second place in the hearts of the local fans.

The Dolphins will always be king. Perhaps this is more evident now than ever before. It is evident because the fans are outraged, because they are screaming for changes, because they simply will not put up with the product we have seen on the field.

If there is any good news in the wake of all the bad news, it is that apathy has not set in. Dolphins fans are livid, and that's good. That's the way it should be. That means when the day comes that things turn for the better, it will be that much more enjoyable. Sometimes you have to know how the other half lives to appreciate what you have. And what Dolphins fans have is a loyalty that runs through their veins, a loyalty that has been so evident in the past few forgettable weeks.

Don't mistake this as trying to downplay what we have seen in the first three games of the season. The Dolphins are a bad football team right now. They are bad because the offense can’t score points and because there doesn't seem to be an easy cure. The line isn't blocking, the running backs aren’t making plays and the quarterbacks are doing nothing to distinquish themselves.

Is there a light shining through all the darkness? Quite frankly, it's hard to tell. I'd like to tell you that the offense is going to break out of this, but there has been no indication of that so far. I'd like to tell you that A.J. Feeley is the answer at quarterback, but what has he done to justify that confidence? I'd like to tell you that Jay Fiedler could step in and play good quality football, but who really knows?

The sad thing about this whole situation is that the defense is playing so well. If the Dolphins offense was merely decent – just decent – we'd be looking at a 3-0 team right now. The defense has given up a remarkable two touchdowns in three games. They deserve much better than this.

The question now begs to be asked: How long can the defense play this well before the problems on offense saps them of their enthusiasm? This is a major concern as the AFC East schedule begins Sunday against the Jets. The defense is a proud group, a talented group even with the injuries on the defensive line.

But look into Jason Taylor's eyes. Look at the expression on Zach Thomas’ face. Try to get a read on Patrick Surtain. You'll see the same thing: frustration. Sure, there have been some breakdowns on defense. That's only natural considering how much time they have spent on the field. But for the most part, this group has been sensational.

However, these players are only human. They see the scoreboard. They know the record. Perhaps the biggest challenge they will face as a group is to keep playing well amid the problems on offense.

So what now? These Dolphins are traveling through unchartered territory. Most of these players weren’t even alive the last time the Dolphins were 0-3. Many of the fans weren’t either.

Ah yes, the fans. The e-mails keep coming in. So are the letters. You hear the anger on the radio call-in shows and you see it in the faces of the people filing out of the stadium. To paraphrase a line from a once popular movie, "they are mad as hell and they don't want to take it any more."

Dolphins fans everywhere are seething right now. And that means, more than anything else, that they still care. If there is any good to come out of this miserable September, it is that. The Dolphins may be losing games, but they haven’t lost their fans. And that's something which separates this franchise from so many others.

Haha, I love it. I lived in Miami for about 12 years, now I live in Ft. Lauderdale (closer to the stadium actually) and have been a Dolphin hater since day one. (It all stems back to the one loss the Bears had in 85.)

Plus, living here, I understand the disloyalty of the general Miami fan. Though the Dolphins have more continuous fans than the Marlins, Heat, or Panthers, there are still so many fair-weather fans here that I love to see everyone jumping off the bandwagon in droves. I haven't seen to many orange seats!

Okay, time to fire Wanny.

Worst thing to happen? Leonard Henry breaking a run, giving Wannstedt the impression that they can run the ball. Your best weapon is Randy McMichael, and you use him sparingly in the second half, until you are forced to.

Time for a fresh start. Something's gotta change before this turns around.

I feel this game is a loss no matter what happens. Both teams suck and if you win its not like you accomplished anything or have something to brag about or even gain confidence.
If you knew anything about the Bills/Dolphins rivalry you'd know that the either team could go 0-14 and the last 2 games against each other would mean a ton reguardless of records. It's about playing for your pride. The days of czonka, the days of oj simpson....kelly vs. marino...the Bills could go 2-14 this year and if they beat the dolphins both times I'd be content. I can't say I'd be happy because thats a crappy season...but beating the dolphins isn't like beating any other team, it's beating THE team. 0-5, 5-0 it doesn't matter it's still going to be a great game and both teams fans are going to rejoice whether they move on to be 1-4 or 1-5...not because "they won" but because they beat the dolphins/bills.

Lopo5
10-15-2004, 06:28 AM
This years diff I just cant get excited anymore. I cant go from expecting a playoff berth to settling for just beating the dolphins. Im to depressed, frustrated and angered to get motivated. So much that if the bills and dolphins were 1-14 heading into the last week and they played each other I would cheer for the dolphins because it would give us a better draft position. (if we had a draft pick of course this year we dont) The only thing that could get me excited now is seeing the backup play to see what happens. Its time to give him a shot.

I'm assuming that you are a Bills fan so maybe you forgot that you don't have a 1st round pick this year since its owned by the Cowboys for last year draft day trade to get JP Losman. If I were you, I just start hoping that the Bills start winning soon or Dallas will get at least a top 5 pick.

Vincent out, Milloy and Wire questionable for Buffalo.......
Mare out, Bryant in at K........
@ Buffalo......
2 of the NFL's worst offenses as well as 2 of the NFL's best defenses.........

Great game to watch. Dolphins played a heck of a game...after that dolphins score at the end of the half I figured that might have killed us. I noticed 3 things in this game...

1. Willis Mcgahee was IMPRESSIVE against a defense as good as the dolphins...when you can rush for 111 yards on a defense thats that good and knows your going to be running....that just amazed me...some of the things he did had me thinking if it was time Travis Henry should start packing his bags

2. Both teams wanted this game bad and it showed. I've never seen such a hard fought battle...both of the goalline stands were absolutely amazing and the drives that both teams put together even with their crappy offenses amazed me

3. Jay Fielder makes Ryan Leaf look like Joe Montana

They say the bills offense sucks (which usually I can't disagree with) but today we definately put together drives when the game was on the line. We game out immediately in the 2nd half got the huge drive we needed. Then throughout the 4th we put together the 2 huge time consuming drives to seal the victory.

Weird thing is for some odd reason I'm more happy with Mcgahee than the Bills win. Up until today I just saw him as dead weight and a threat to one of my favorite players (travis henry)....but after todays performance I'm floored to know this guy is going to be a part of our team for years to come. That stiff arm of his is DEADLY...he completely floored the 300 pound defensive lineman with it and injured their safety with it.

Ricky would help but Jay Fielder played like the short bus forgot to pick him up. Not only did he not show up but when he did it was horrible. His numbers may have looked nice today but he looked absolutely horrible....I mean he had to miss at least 5 recievers doing simple outs today and the screen passes were just ugly and I mean those are only like 3 yard passes.

Actually they only gave up 13 points...your offense lost this game...holding a team to 13 points should net you a win 95% of the time

That easily would have been 16 (or even 20) if the Bills actually tried to score at the end of the game. Even if Spikes picked that ball off and fell down with no YAC, the Bills would have gotten at least 3 points out of it.

Ricky Willams - retired
David Boston - torn ACL (IR)
A.J. Feely - concussion (OUT)... but he sucks anyway and we never should have traded for him
Jay Fiedler - ribs... and all the does is throw INT's for touchdowns
Lamar Gordon - shoulder (IR) was a pretty good pick-up... too bad he lasted 3 plays.
Olindo Mare - calf (OUT)... one of the only remaining weapons we have and he's out 2 weeks
John St. Clair - Leg/Ankle (OUT)... THE best of a TERRIBLE offensive line... which ain't sayin' much
Tim Bowens - Back (OUT)

Funny thing is, I still LOVE our defense!

P.S. We have the #3 total defense in the ENTIRE NFL!!

POOR D???? ARE YOU ******ED??? Their D is the only reason why they have not been blown out. Look at all of their games no blow outs and held the teams with in 7-10 points. Come on the D is the reason why they still have somewhat of a team. They lost a whole hell of a lot more than ricky. Their O line is all new with the exception of one guy. They have no real good quaterback, boston is hurt. Come on if you know nothing of what is going on with them then make no asumptions. Also look at the stats they have one of top 5 D right now just the worste rated offensive in the NFL! Do not diss on the Dolphins D that is one thing and the only thing they do have!

How can a top 3 defense be 28th or something like that against the run? The Dolphins will likely only have a chance to win against teams that refuse to run the ball (like the Rams).

I NEVER complain about the refs, but there were THREE missed calls (one of them was blatant) that hurt the Fins a LOT.

1) Phantom 'helmet to helmet' hit.
2) Ticky-tack pass interference call which probably would have ended the game, as Taylor had sacked the QB and it was 4th and goal from the 15.
3) Fitzgerald's Michael Irvin 'pushoff' to win the game.

#3 wasn't as bad as #2 but still...

Anyway, I have to keep it all in perspective: the more losses the higher the draft pick.

Chugga
11-07-2004, 03:01 PM
That phantom helmet to helmet happens alot though. The bills had to deal with it against the pats on their first drive. Pats 3rd down and long fletcher puts a nice hit on Brady and since his head flies back the refs "assume" it's helmet to helmet and all of a sudden it's first down pats. I didn't get to see the game so I can't really comment on how bad the calling was but even though I completely and utterly hate the dolphins I didn't think all the calls in the world could have saved the cardinals today I figured the fins would have ran away with it.

Well looks like the Niners will get the number 1 pick now, I wonder what we will trade it for or how far down we will trade

God that game was brutal...

The score did NOT reflect how bad it was.

49'ers fans, I feel your pain... your O-Line is BRUTAL... almost as bad as ours. What's the word on Rattay? Does he suck that badly or does he just not have any weapons to work with.

Feely, while I've never liked the squirrely little bastard, has really gutted it out and I give him kudos for that... although I'm getting sick and tired of that little limp every time he makes a play. Yeah, Jay, we know you're playing hurt- you don't have to show us every single time you do something good!

According to scouts and the "Draft experts" ... this year's draft is weak. Also can the 49ers afford to sign a #1 pick with their salary cap problems?

ok, how Mare misses a 22 yarder then makes a 50 yarder is beyond me. Maybe he won't be gone.
I've loved Mare... he's been a great kicker for us and I've always pulled for him b/c our paths crossed in college, but I honestly think it's time for him to go. He doesn't have nearly the leg he used to and this team will probably be in a mini-rebuilding mode- so I think we should bring in someone young and season him for the year after next.

Man stupid directv is not doing this game in HDTV!!! GO FINS!
I know this was to be expected, but those announcers were TERRIBLE. I usually try not to have too much of an opinion about those kinds of semantics, but they suck out like Ricky in a Dolphins uniform...

Just plain B-A-D!

Can't wait for next week...should be fun watching McGahee go back to miami and run all over that defense

Son, you better think twice before you start making those kinds of ridiculous statements!

Miami's defense is NOT Seattle!

McGahee won't break 80 yards.

Goalkeeper I hate to rewind the clock on you but do you remember this? Happened just a few weeks ago....

Bills vs. Dolphins (Bills Win 20-13)
26 Carries - 111 Yards Rushing
3 Receptions - 31 Yards Receiving

If your wondering those were McGahees stats....don't be sad though, your not the only team he's run for 100 yards on...he's run for 100 in 5 of his 6 starts

I guarantee the pick will be traded! Guarantee it, no way will the Niners be able to afford to pay a top pick

Nothing says the 49ers are guarenteed the number 1 pick...don't you guys get to play the saints again? Just have Aaron Brooks throw the ball backwards a few times and your tied right back up with Miami...and as we've seen Seattle can fall apart at any given moment. I don't count the 49ers out for 2nd pick just yet.

Nevermind your remaining schedule is pretty tough. You do have a chance against Arizona and Washington though

You can have him for a 3rd rounder. I wouldn't be suprised if we only get a 4th now. After him getting injured today his stock plummeted even more. I hate how little we are going to get for him because he really is a good RB...whatever team gets him for a 3rd rounder or 4th rounder is lucky if he wants to resign there

I agree he is one hell of a back thats just had a bad year, but then again as crappy as barlow has done im not COMPLETELY ready to give up yet as we have about the worst O Line ever, but I like what Hicks has been doin and he has 4.3 speed
