Jon, I only know of Blue Onion in Eastwood (DJ only club) and Arkdia in Malate (rotating house bands). The better-looking women were at Blue Onion, since Eastwood seems to cater to a fancier crowd. I;m not in the PI tho, so I'm sure the locals on the board will have better info for you. If you've never been there, Eastwood is like the PI version of CityWalk or The Block. :D

When I moved from Dallas to San Jose I was thrown for a loop here in the Bay Area. See, a lot of Filipinos have Mexican/Spanish last names, like Vasquez, Villanova, Encarnacion. So I'm like maybe these are Chinese people who are half Spanish/Mexican??? I was quickly educated on why, but too long to post here. I love lumpia. Filipino girls are off the heezy. I'm Mexican....

majority of pinoys like the nba. there are lots of mcfarlane collectors here in PI (pinas) but for SP's, most of us collect nba figs. basketball is the most well-known sports here tho the height of pinoys are not that tall. the average height is 5'5" (i guess). btw, there is one pinoy who has 3 blue/black finley.

dont get your hopes up high. about 95% of SP's here are NBA figs but there are lots of Spawn figs as well.

Regular figures cost around US$12-20/Php 700-1,200 (depends on the player)
Variants cost around US$25 - up/Php1,000-2,500
JO Variant cost around US$80-100/Php4,000-5,600

some collectors, like me prefer to buy on ebay or on-line because its alot cheaper. prices are more than doubled here mainly because of shipping. (shipping sucks) sometimes it is higher than the fig itself. :mad:

it would be better if we could directly get the figs from China instead of China to US to PI.

if you plan to go here, it would be better to sell SP's (NBA) than buy them. :D

Looks like I need a catch-up bump here, too. I've been gone awhile.

Actually, the PI is 15 hours ahead of the West Coast right now. When we turn our clocks back, it'll be back to 16 hours (they don't have Daylight Savings). I know because my fiancee lives in the PI, so I'm used to having 2 clocks in my head. :D

Yes scalpers are also a problem here. Hobby shops sometimes sells it as set of of 2 or 3. Combining shortpack or hot figs with potential peg warmers.
But Landmark doesn't have McF's, SM Malls (toy kingdom) and Kidzstation (local McF distributor) has.

I think the McF's is only releasing the toys in US, maybe to control their stocks. :)
