6 minty mint Bettis 12" and 8 minty mint Brady 12" at the East Washinton Street TRU. Also, the Meijer put out a brand new case of Legends. No chase, but there is one LT left and I know some people have had a tough time finding that one...

Man! I stopped this morning at Meijer on East Washington and nothing was out yet, then tonight - ONLY ONE DILLON left. Do you think they really sold 11 figures or that someone just did a return there?
I am so bummed. I'll never find a chase again after GameStop stopped carrying.
Anyway, Dillon looks great. They finally listened on the silver deal. I can't believe they didn't notice last year with Vinatieri and Sapp though, too bad Brady looks like crud...

I got lucky last night. Went out in hopes of finding NFL 12. Really figured I would just find regulars since it wasn't my regular route. Walked into a Meijer and all they had was two Harrisons?!?! Both the regular and chase but nothing else was out? Very very odd. Was very excited to get both of my Harrisons though!

Castleton Mall is the biggest mall in the state. Quite large. Northwest Indy on Allisonville exit off of 465.
How old is that mall? I always though Glenbrook in Ft. Wayne was Indiana's largest mall.:confused: I guess going by square footage Castleton is bigger. But Castleton has it's anchor stores and 130 specialty stores. Glenbrook has it's anchor stores and 160 specialty stores. Since Castleton has a couple extra anchor stores I guess that makes up big in square footage. I don't know.
Don't know why I typed all this. I was just thinking aloud. LOL:o

Just a reminder that since the end of the season Bob Sanders, Marlin Jackson, Adam Vin, Dallas Clark, Tarik Glenn, Mike Doss and Brandon Stokley have all signed for free in Central Indiana.

Greenwood was a little disappointing they had Aaron Moorehead and Von Hutchins. The crowd was a nice size and everyone there got an autograph. Hopefully someone is going tomorrow to let us know who signs.

A update on who has signed in the Make it Personal Tour, South Bend was Gary Brackett and Cato June and earlier today was Jason David and Von Huctions. There is another one up north that starts at 7:30 and then two in Fort Wayne tomorrow.

No, there was not much of a crowd or dealers. Cris Carter had a very nice line but most of the guys were just sitting there after 10 minutes of signing. The celebs all had tables just like a dealer and you could walk up to their table and talk to them. If you have ever been to a National or Tri Star show in Cleveland, this one would have let you down.

Hello fellow Hoosiers. I grew up in Richmond and now live in Georgia. Still follow the Hoosiers (basketball) and the Fighting Irish (football). Sure do get alot of crap down here (when I wear an IU or ND shirt) from all the SEC and ACC fans. Trying to get tickets for the GT/ND game Sept. 2nd, sure would like to see that one in person.

No experience w/ the Brickyard, but concerning the Children's Museum here, its pretty nice, my daughter loves that place, lots of things to see and do. They have a large carousel inside and the newest attraction is the Dinosphere, a mini museum devoted solely to dinosaurs... The Colts team shop is about 2 blocks from the RCA dome, its located inside the Circle Center Mall. They have a good selection of Colts stuff and even have Sportspicks in there, but at hiked up prices... Hope the info was helpful and hope you have fun in Indianapolis...

if the Indianapolis Indians (Pirates AAA team) are in town, it's worth going to a game. Victory Field is one of the nicest Minor League stadiums it's right down the street from the Dome.
it is also worth going to the Indiapolis Motor Speedway museum inside the track. and I think they still let people drive their car around the track if nothing is going on. and you must check out Canseco Field House or the NCAA Hall of Champions, it's about 2 blocks from Victory Field. this link might help http://www.indydt.com/

TRU in Castelton had what looked to be 3-4 cases put out this morning, but there were NO Joe Montanas. Did they even hit the floor? Also, all the Ronnie Lotts were Gold Helmet (not tan) at TRU
None out yet at Wal-Mart, TRU or Meijer on East Washington although Meijer put out a few NFL 12 today. Weird. There is 1 Brees and 1 Tomlinson left.

Walmart across the street has done alot at christmas time, nothing so far this year.

Some of you guys down there in Indy are slacking! ;) My wife and I went down for an appointment last week and picked up 2 White Montana's', 3 regular Payton's', 1 white Payton, an orange Palmer and a couple Mawae's. It was mid morning usually long past good hunting times. Some cool hot wheels too a lot of hard to find variations just sitting on the shelves. One of the best hunting trips I have had in a long time :)

Mine never has hockey. Like I posted early here, no NFL 13 or Legends here either. Mostly just baseball. Was hoping for a Meijers exclusive like last years Manning. Looks like they didn't bother with NFL for some reason.:rolleyes:

I am planning on going to the carvan this weekend!
I picked up 2 SPs (Bush and Troy P) at downtown comics in Castleton.
I then got two more (E SMith Cardinals and Pennington) at the Garage Sale at the fairgrounds this past weekend.
There are a couple of guys that sell them at the Stewarts Flea Market at the fair grounds. The next one is FEB 9-11.

Cooperstown 4 out at Greenwood TRU, looks like 'bout 3 cases, looks like the variant for Ted Williams is the gray jersey w/ BOSTON in black letters on the front, they had 3 there, picked up 1, left the other 2.
There was 'bout 1 case of Cooperstown 4 at East Washington TRU, no variants.

The last NFL series I saw at any Meijer near me was the series with Julius Jones, Roethilsberger, can't remember the series number.
The last new series I saw at Meijer's was the NHL series w/ Crosby and the MLB series w/ Manny Ramirez, Jake Peavy, & Sheffield. After those two, nothing else...

Nope..Last new thing I seen at any of the Meijers in Fort Wayne was MLB 15. They still got a lot of those along with the Ben Wallace/Rasheed Wallace two pack, and one still has the Lebron/McGrady 2 pack.. Just checked at TRU today for Cooperstown 4 and nothing yet..Just a bunch of MLB 14 and 15 with a few NBA Legends 2
for all those interested TRU castleton had the yankees and cubs 3 packs last night as well as Cooperstown 4.

At the Plainfield TRU, was able to pick up 2 Afro Vikings Moss figs, left behind 1 and left behind 3 Mawae suprise figures...

There is a Sports Card show up in Kokomo at Markland Mall April 13-15th. Some collectors will have SPs. I went up to it this past month and it was pretty nice for a mall show. Nothing huge, but some good collectors and good prices.
Yeah it use to be a huge show! They sold so many tables they could barely fit them in the mall. I still go down for the nostalgia but it is nothing like it use to be. I use to be able to bring down a few thousand sports figures and diecast cars and meet the needs of 400-500 customers. The dealers there today are not even making the money back on their tables. There are a couple good dealers there but the promoters who took over the shows in the area have killed the mall shows. Sales are down by over 90%. I over last month and talked with a couple of the guys. Its fun to go and shoot the breeze but do not expect much anymore. It is not like the shows held there in the late 90's to 2003 or so.

If your near Muncie, there is a toy store called Heroes And Comics that gets McFarlane football figures. But, there are tons of other non sport collectables (anime, comic, movie, game, etc.).

Catleton TRU had tons of new stuff but it was picked through by lunch. I picked up Manning. I left a Manning 3 Youngs, 3 or 4 Romo's, 1 Westbrook, 1 Lewis. I really like the Romo and Westbrook Figures. Vince looks like he might fall over and Ray Ray is in a black, which I'm not a fan of. I may have to get the chase for that very reason.
OT: They had several cases of new Star Wars as well. Does any one who the best place to find the card GI Joe 25th Anniversary figures?

Catleton TRU had tons of new stuff but it was picked through by lunch. I picked up Manning. I left a Manning 3 Youngs, 3 or 4 Romo's, 1 Westbrook, 1 Lewis. I really like the Romo and Westbrook Figures. Vince looks like he might fall over and Ray Ray is in a black, which I'm not a fan of. I may have to get the chase for that very reason.
OT: They had several cases of new Star Wars as well. Does any one who the best place to find the card GI Joe 25th Anniversary figures?

Hey guys - the remnants of about 2-4 cases were at the East Washington TRU. I didn't have a chance to stop in until about 6:00 (stinkin' work!) :D so NO chases or even Thomas were left.
Picked up a regular Romo.

suhweet! you guys going to the purdue lowa game? ooo also.. i made a figure for Jon Goldberry(former purdue football player) and he really love the figure. he mention i should try selling them at follet's or one of the book stores.. what do you think guys? i need the money haha you know how it is for college students

i go to every purdue home game, last week was a great day for tailgating but the game sucked!!!
go to bruno's down in the levee, he's got a glass case full of purdue customs. as far as selling them at a book store, you'd be setting yourself up for a law suit with the NCAA trying to sell them without permission.
got any pics of the goldsberry? is he still with buffalo?

For those interested there is a card show in Fishers tomorrow from 8-2 at the Hilton behind McDonald's on 96th Street. There was an SP dealer there last month and had a decent selection.

ya i figure that would be a problem when the NCAA lisc etc...but goldberry was pretty honest saying people would buy them..and just trying to make some money on the side:) i've seen the custom in the glass case who makes those?could i sell it to the owner of bruno's? give him a custom for some free pizza:)

I guess it depends on what you are looking for. I picked up a McGwire rookie for $10.00. I don't get into the high end Jersey and auto'd cards. If I pull one, great. I wouldn't buy one at a show.

10 is about average for a Big Mac RC these days. Most the people in there had junk. I did pick up a few autos decently cheap, but quite frankly it was overloaded with overpriced Colts crap (and this is coming from a Colts fan) I just can't comprehend asking 35 for a Anthony Gonzalez jersey card that doesn't sell for more then 3 online. I went with $500 looking for some decent wax to crack and there wasn't a box worth a damn in the whole show. Really makes me bummed that the only decent card shop in Indy has closed down.

It has been fairly dead around here as well. Someone is buying all of the Sports Picks because the first few cases any of the stores get here sell out in a day or two. Indiana use to have one of the largest collector bases for sports figures. I use to have people travel from all over the state to see me at shows in the SLU days. I think the base is still pretty strong compared to other areas of the country. There are a lot of collectors out there that do not bother to come to the board.

I wish I had heard about some of these. The only event I had heard about was the traveling Colts thing they do in the summer. I went and spent an hour in 100 degree hear to get an autograph by Travis Key and another DB who did not even make the practice squad.
