Hey Guys, I am over in Victoria. I have come across a display cabinet maybe some of you would be interested in. It was used at a store for Nintendo/Playstaion/Xbox games. It is 3 sided with sliding glass doors (with locks). It would suit any McFarlanes or Hot Wheels very nicely. It has a bottom piece that allows the cabinet to spin around. Its very heavy, and is about 34 inches across. if any of you are interested. Drop me a PM with your email and I will send you some pics.

I gave up on Guildford and many other stores in the LM way back in Ser 7 or was it 8. I have my contacts out of town that stroll in pick up one single figure of each one and drop them at my door the next time theyr are in town. Of cousre any variants I come across I take just to keep them away from the scalpers hands and I trade for fair value with my fellow boardies. :)

I think Imperial hobbies in Richmond has everything you need, but the paper is expensive, your best bet is to get the solutions and buy the paper online. Check out the links at www.hockeycustoms.com for online retailers. Trust me it's way cheaper online. I think locally it's $14 for 3 sheets

Ok, thanx for your help...but unfortuanatly he wouldnt sell that cheap...he payed $80 for his. The best he could do was $115 for the Linden Retro and NHL 1 Cujo no logo.

wellllllllll, I really don't want to be, that's not my job....but if I must I must. Here is my humble opinion. The big thing I see is the stripes on the socks and the jersey. The red is a good thickness, and the yellow is a good thickness but the black is supposed to be the thickest stripe, not the same size as the others. Same with the numbers, it looks like only a double outline number, where is the red,a nd if it's there why is it so thin, should be more noticeable. The name seems a bit too big as well. It's a very solid custom though.

Burlington Square, it's on the corner of Royal Oak and Kingsway. If you are coming down Kingsway turn at the KFC (Burlington Avenue) and then left into the first complex. I'm directly behind a Korean Restaurant that looks like a house... it used to be a funeral home :eek: There is a hairdresser, and ESL school on either side of me. I am close to Royal Oak skytrain as well, incase you are w/o car.

Jovanoski's are $14.99

Other NHL prices are $12.99 for regular player figures, $13.99 for goalies and $14.99+ for significant players (Crosby/Canucks). Variants are generally $19.99, but obiviously NH McNabb costs a lot more, and Gretzky's are less :p

These prices are the same for NBA, MLB, and NFL figs ($12.99 reg, $19.99 variant).

Well that would depend on the trade (who for who), and what I have for stock. My regular figures are mostly $12.99 (as mentioned Crosby and Canucks are a bit more), so it really is a good price for customizing. I have some Sergei Fedorov (NHL 9) for $6.99, great price if you can use his parts. :p

Mostly Music has been nothing but good to me. They have their prices high simply to haggle. Talk to Todd when you go in there...he is a good guy man! I always get decent prices on stuff there, at least compareable with what the fig would cost me on eBay, usually less.

Most stores can take USD. You should stop by, my store's near the US border. ( #116-1959 152nd St. Surrey).

I'm not sure what's in stores in richmond right now. It's summer, so there isn't much new stuff hitting shelves yet. But I haven't been in a long time and it'll be different stuff for you since you're used to what's available down there. It's funny how different selection is when you're in different areas.

I'm not a MLB collector, but when they came out, I found 2 regs at $15, but didn't know anyone who needed them. I think I traded one away, can't remember. The other was on hold, but I just never went back to get it.

USD almost always accepted up here, it's just not the case when you take Canadian $$ to the states. :p

New stuff? Depends on what you are looking for, I don't think NFLL 2 have came out up here yet, so there isn't alot of new stuff at the moment. You could always swing by my shop the next time you come through (if you have time), I am fairly new so you may find stuff here that isn't anywhere else. I'm central being in Burnaby, near Metrotown so not hard to get to.

Anyway, hope you had fun on your trek to the YVR. :D
