Wally mart in Abbotsford put out a whack of NHL 13, no chases but plenty of Heatly's, McCabes and Tanguays, also the new 3"ers were out but no Nazzy's.....anyone got a Nazzy for me??

nice grab cro-cop. I found Thornton and Heatleyat London Drugs and a reg Lundqvist at Zellers in Coquitlam Centre. No sign of any Ovechkin in Coquitlam, and Zellers/Superstore in Maple Ridge dont have any NHL 13, and London Drugs in Ridge has everyone except Ovechkin and Lundqvist.

I don't get how when the 1st wave of 3" figs came out, they were 2 figs for $7 or $8. then they started packaging them individually and prices were $3-4. and now they're $5. seems a little high for a figure 1/10 of the plastic of the 6" figures.

is the naslund the same as the original 2 pk with stevens?

Tigertiger........Zellers seem to be getting mostly Heatleys, though someone did score a Mohawk McCabe at Richmond Zellers !!
There were predominately Lundqvist chases at North Van Walmart, black Ovechkins at Lougheed Walmart..........and a few Daniel Sedins showed up at New West Wally !!!

Colin, if you put the logo onto a disc, and take it to a Staples, they will make stickers for you. Just make sure it doesnt say "San Jose" anywhere in the logo, and if they ask say you made it in photoshop. I think they would run about 3 or 4 bucks each depending on the size.

Guys, the Superstore in Pitt Meadows has NHL 13 now. A TON of regs of every player, but no chase. If you go they are stashed on the top of the display shelving, like they are overstock...they only have 10 or so on the lower pegs. Obviosuly a staff member gets the chase, cause the girl I talked to said she just put them out like an hour ago, and this was at 8pm last night.

well with at least 1 of them/case, they aren't that hard to find outside of BC. so each sedin on average would be 1 every 2 case, whereas the others cases are going to be 1/5 cases.

K I have to vent:

I just recently got a pretty solid job in a warehouse, which is unionized, but not till after 3 months of employment. Anyways, I just started and Wednesday night was my 3rd night...Well it started pissing snow at like 2ish or w.e and I almost killed myself on the way back from skewl...so i call in and say I dont know if I can come in (its in Burnaby on Marine and Burn). My mom also works there and she said it was fine, just be smart or w.e. But then she talks to the warehouse manager and she basically says I have to show or my job would be on the line (aka id most likely be fired). So I get there finally, a bit late and work...they keep up there till like 11 and I have to drive home in basically the worst conditions ive ever seen. I spun out over and over again and actually hit a meridean on the number 1.

How is that fair? What if I had gotten in a huge accident? Im just super choked right now

ditto here...pretty weak. There's lots of places that shut down early or completely. If you don't have 4x4 and snow tires, you're taking a pretty big risk. I've got a friend who has to wake up at 4:45AM to take the bus to get to work by 6:30!

In this situation, it's tough when places are unionized though too. Employers are pretty much by the book, since the union is the same.

In some cases it does work, but sometimes it doesn't. The company that I worked for before, the yard guys decided to go union. A few of the older guys had to actually take a pay cut in increments b/c they were making too much. One of them took an inside job as an assistant shipper. He used to get bonuses and stuff because of years of loyalty, but lost all that because he wasn't allowed to get that under the union agreement. Some of the newer guys were not given a lot of job security b/c they hadn't shown loyalty to the company. But with a union, they have job security but they don't have much room to move up b/c of seniority despite showing more initiative than some of the guys that have been there longer.

I was at the Anahiem game, he follows up one good play with 3 bad ones.

3 on 2, pokes away the pass to the boards 5 ft away from the blueline. Skates to it, looks up to see which of the Swedes he can pass to, Selanne steals the puck from behind, passes to McDonald, and 1st goal.

Next shift, brings the puck up deep into Anahiem zone, loses it, stops, stands for a sec, then slowly skates back.

3rd shift, passes from deep in our zone, down the middle, intercepted by a Ducks' forward.

I thought I would never say it, but I miss Jovo. As nervous as I would get watching him try to do too much with the puck and almost lose it, I can't stand watching Ohlund do nothing with the puck and lose it. BOOOOOO!! BOOOOOOO!!

We aren't going too. Kesler can't be traded and I still think @ 21 we should keep him around longer if he signs cheaper.

Cookie can go, he isn't doing much and is overpaid for what he has been doing, but I'm guessing not many teams would want him. I think BMO is somewhat decent trade bait as is Salo. Right now I just want to see us get younger, I dont mind growing pains.

Crawford used him better. The whole PP is based on getting the puck to the Sedins/Naslund who have no shot. No creativity or puck movement on the PP.

Also after watching the speed of the passes between the Ducks and the Canucks, it looked like we were still getting used to the lines. Everyone was hesitant. Passes to the skates and to nobody sometimes.

Had a good laugh on Monday at LD at Guildford.I took a quick look to see what they had on the shelf, as I am pulling a bunch of mixed figures from the shelf some guy comes up and tries to get in front of me and starts grabbing figures. He hands me an Iginla and says this is a really good one to get, he's playing really well right now and it will be worth allot in a couple of years. He then proceeded to go on and on about how collectible they are and that I shouldn't take it out of the box.I played dumb and let him ramble on for at least 2 more minutes. He told me that he has been collecting them for almost 2 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!. WOW !! I thanked him for the figure and told him I would place the Iginla next to my Ser 1 Yzerman and my retro Linden. The look on his face was compete confusion. I smiled and walked away to go find my wife. I saw him a while later in the mall and he still had that blank, confused look. Hope your not a Board Member buddy! If you are thanks for the great information and I can't wait till my Iginla is worth at least 3.99 on the clearance shelf.

picked up a few for myself. As I was going to the cashier, I noticed a few people staring at me. One guy came up to me and asked if he could look at them. Then after, another lady said that her nephew is crazy about those figs and wanted to know where I got them. Another guy took a double take at the box in my hand as I was looking at them. Funny thing is that they were all at least 45-50 yrs old.

Boxing day shoppers are so nosy. They think I was onto some awesome deal, and wanted a piece of it too. There were over 20 left. Go pick them off the shelf yourself and look at them in your own hands and mind your own beeswax...sheesh :rolleyes:

My buddy who works at a SS told me they have 7 boxes unopened of the Naslund two pack still in the backroom. Dont bother asking for them they will just deny it and theres nothing wrong with that. They were instructed not to put them out. THey will probally be put out once the price changes from the sale price. Those things will sell might as well sell them for $30.
