Dude! Just buy cases! With the cost of gas and the time you spent looking (prolly more than just today) you are losing the battle. Cases are the way to go. Just trade your doubles with someone else buying cases or something.

NHL 9 was/is definitely hurtin. Legends was slaughtered because of the -way- overpacking of Gretzkys', and NBA has always been a killer. I was kinda hoping the NHL might totally collapse and force a new league to form. Damn, my NHL stockpile would be worth a fortune! :D
In regards to buying figs, I'm just giving you a hard time. But you did say you wanted the NBA 8 figs from me and then you bought them at Wisers when you went to their auction. I know you got a good deal so hey... understandable. :D

pretty much looking for anything NHL or NFL that catches my eye

have one interesting item up for trade or sale for the right price. I have a Bertuzzi, momc, regular white jersey, but there is no name on the back of the jersey. I have contacted a lot of dealers etc and they all say they have never seen this before with a Bertuzzi?!?!?! I dunno if it is one of the super chase variants everyone talks about or what, but lots of shops and collectors have told me to not sell it unless it is a very good price due to the rarity, and they compared it to the Lemieux with the crooked jersey logo, but those were few and far between, I have not seen or heard of another Bert fig with this error/variant yet.

Walked into my local wally so early today that they hadn't finished the cheer yet even. Saw a shelf and a half of NHL 11... untouched. Had my choice, picked up 2 chase Khabbi(1 for me, 1 for a friend) but no chase Kipper. Didn't bother looking at the players as I don't collect them.

I was really hoping the Jovo was gonna have a Team Canada chase since he's not in the upcoming series. Doesn't make sense to me to not have a Jove chase whether it be a Panthers or even just an alternate jersey.

Yeah, I was gonna hold onto my NHL until the season eventually starts up 'cause it's been so dry. BUT... gotta make some room and recoup some cash... even if there is a loss.
