It was okay, alot of people Wednesday & Thursday (More than usual), most of the guys were not signing memorabillia or would only sign at the end of their day. I did get multiples on Romo,Brees,Palmer and a bunch of others. Carson was cool as usual, just plan for next year!

I was there too yesterday. I was just hangin' out with Chris and Alex. It was my first time being there and it was pretty impressive. Lots of toys and Sp's. Yeah, if they could just promote it the right way, maybe it will attract more collectors.:)

Yeah, I was big time growing up- mostly warships and Navy aircraft. I will still on ocassion pick up a model ship when it comes out. These new 21st Century Toys are incredibly detailed- even though you don't get to build them, which is fine with me. I bought an F-86 last week at WM on Hegenberger. They are currently discounted to $25 (reg $40) so I couldn't pass. The only problem though is at 1:18 scale they are huge- I will probably end up hanging them from the ceiling of my son's room. :D

I used to build a lot of 1/172 scale modern US warships, but I liked to superdetail them using photo-etched railings, ladders, and radars. It became too time-consuming and I didn't want to compromise, so I just stopped. I would pick it up again if only I had the time... :o

Yep, a few had some minor dings but the vast majority of everything I saw looked in very nice shape. The new smaller packaging is nicer than I thought it would be. BTW, the new cases are a very tight fit so I was surprised there wasn't more damage...

Guys: Bonds 756 is $14.99 at TRU. Condition was not bad; boxes were all in mint shape. Paint jobs varied; I found 2 that looked pretty good...but you have to be selective for sure. At Blossom Hill they consolidated all of the SPs in a new aisle location with lots more room (they are not in split locations anymore), an obvious move to begin making room for the forthcoming NFL cases. Next week perhaps? :)

Anthony...where they heck are you? Waitin to hear about your cases of Legends...Condition? Variants? Inquiring minds need to know. :confused:

Stopped by the Hayward show today. More and more lighted displays are showing up, and the scene is slowly improving. I think they even did some repaving in part of the lot. A number of dealers had Legends 3; I didn't see any in distressed condition. All regs are $10.00 (I picked up minty Marino and Roger for that price) except Bo ($12.00-$15.00) and Reggie (also $12-15.00). No new NFL reg line yet.

All regs are $10.00 (I picked up minty Marino and Roger for that price) except Bo ($12.00-$15.00) and Reggie (also $12-15.00). No new NFL reg line yet.

Cool deals. I wanted to check it out Weds too but got out of work around 7:30 (not working- had an office fantasy football draft ;)) and saw the traffic was bad going into Hayward so I passed. I guess it was for the best- the Tri-Star showing is coming next weekend. :D

Did you make it out to the Marleau signing? I got there at 3:15 and was the 128th person in line. I wish I would have known that they were giving out the tickets at 1:30.

Was pretty quiet as expected. Got the Romo reg but the guys who promised they'd have a Westbrook for me today said he forgot to bring them...The Romo chase another dude had at the show last weekend for $35 is now $50...

Yep, he's an asian guy that has an account with TMP to take all their warehouse leftovers so he gets to order everything else he wants I believe. Yeah. He has a lot of SP's at his store in Redwood City. He let Chris and Allan handle his booth at the Hayward show. His priority is his store and doesn't really bring any good stuffs at the Hayward show. You could trade with him too, if you have Marvel Legends.:p

Yeah, unfortunately he got into a car accident. Not sure if he's going back from San Diego Comic Con or on the way.:( I was shocked too when I found out. Alex called me up to go to the Hayward Show days after he passed away to buy some of his stuffs. I didn't buy anything though. Chris and Alex helped his relatives to clear some of his stuffs and they were selling it too for really cheap price.

RIP Alan. He was a good guy. I got to know him over the past couple of years when he still had his store on Mission in SF. Last time I saw him was at Fanfest since I moved out the Bay Area, I haven't been back much. This is really sad news. Prayers for his family and his kids.

1 case of NBA Legends at BH TRU yesterday. I couldn't outrace the daily scalper for the Wilkins AS variant. 3 Russel, 2 of everyone else except 1 Malone. I think it was a variant, but I left it. Still no NFL. As for that USC game...I was at a Mt. retreat over the weekend, and the guys couldn't believe it when we all started to hear the news and confirm it on I phones. Unbelievable, but that's why they play the games eh? Don't worry Mike...I'm sure you will get over it in 8 or 10 years :D I still am not over the Immaculate Reception...:mad:

California Athletic Commission came down on these guys this week, most of their listed talent are not going to appear and do not have contracts. Not to mention a friend of mine won one of their VIP passes through their contest on WrestlingFigs.com and all of the other winners have not received their passes and have received nothing but excuses as to why they have not, also they were selling dealer space w/vip passes on eBay for $99 when they were charging dealers who signed up $400+ for booth space.

Wow, that was quite a read. I am surprised of the guys who still showed up including Golberg, my friend who won one of the VIP All Access Passes never even received his passes, a courtesy call or e-mail about them or anything. What a Mickey Mouse operation.

Yep, only saw 1 Manning left at Sunnyvale TRU, 1 Benson at Winchester and a broken Ray Lewis and Manning at BH...but did score one minty Romo reg at BH. Man the first case of NFL went fast...

Looks like they put out a couple more cases of NFL 15 this past week at BH. Saw 2 William Thomas surprise figs sitting on the pegs. I had no interest in them, so I left them there.

Trick or Treat for me tonight! After eating at Chili's, checked BH TRU and was surprised to see 6 figs left from a case of NHL 16. Picked up 2 Crosbys for me, 1 for my Pens fan son and a Gagne for my Flyers fan son. :) Left 2 Jagrs. No Huets in site. I can't wait until they go back to 6 figure assortments...4 just isn't enough, especailly when one is as lame as another Jagr. Anyone know what the variants are in this series???

S'vale TRU had NHL 16 of all 4 players. Their was 5 Crosby, 2 Huet, 2 Jagr and 1 Gagne. I got one Huet and left the other one.

Winchester TRU had 9 NHL figs left...same assortment as what you found in Sunnyvale, except only one Huet left which I snagged. Wonder who found the variants on Wednesday? I know Winchester didn't put them out today, because no one else beat me to the racks by 10:05 and there was a new case of NBA Legends with an All Star Wilkins just a waiting to be bought ;)

Hey all, TRU Dublin has the new 12" Paytons this morning...had 3 white and 1 blue but has a ding on the front of the package...really nice figure tho'...also had the new nfl team sets...looked pretty bad to me...no NFL16 or 3-packs tho...did find another Crosby chase....

Also some white Paytons at BH TRU yesterday. Found nothing today except for some NHL Legends 4 openers/extras for $2.98 each in Modesto. No new NFL yet... Also found a few Bruschis at TRU Winchester for $3.50 each...good for 2 player setups. Shaun Alexander regs are $3.98 there.

The Tomlinson really has an irredescent jersey sheen on it that makes it look...well, different. I think I like the Gates color from last year better. The white Alexander really looks good. No Niner 3-packs however. Another case of 12 inch Paytons also out, but no blues. And of course no new NFL yet...but I can smell em they are so close!
