Hey all, Alameda and San Lorenzo BIG5 had NFL15 for $14.99, both had the Thomas Surprise figs if anyone wants them....TRU Hayward had a bunch of Eagles and RB 3-Packs on Monday...Will probably wait for those Eagles 3-packs to go on sale before I pick it up but the Westbrook and Dawkins did look cool! :)

Redwood City TRU had the Eagles 3 pack and the Bridgepoint TRU had the RBs 3 pack yesterday. *Update* Found Cowboys 3 packs at BP TRU today and they sold out of the RBs 3 packs, didn't see any 49ers 3 packs still.

Happy Black Friday all. I wasn't gonna do it this year...I wasn't gonna get up at 4:15 a.m., freeze by butt off in a 30 minute line just to try and snag some new SPs. But, alas, I did so after reading some other threads about TRU stocking new product today. So I went to BH TRU in South SJ, and chuckled at the folks trying to get a Zune for $59.95. Only new SPs were Eagles 3-packs and a solid case of Gores. All were in very good shape...no variant of any kind noticeable...no jersey color, base variation, patch, etc. Otherwise, went to Macys for some screamin deals on men's clothes, Gamestop for some $3.95 PSP movies (Monty Python and the Holy Grail...Hurrah!) and Big 5 (SPs behind the gun counter so didn't bother to wait for assistance). I'm gonna pay for it the rest of the day...or until nap time! ;)

I got my CC 49ers 3 pack in the mail today. The paint job looks OK. Some thin spots with the red color. Kind of disappointed that the helmets are tan.

I left a Wilkins All-Star and 2 William Thomas at the TRU in Stockton. They also had one RB 3-pack left, 5 Eagles 3-packs and about 30 Bond 756.

And if you guys haven't checked out BIG 5, do so. I picked up a McNair Oilers and Gore at the one in Ceres. They also had Chad Pennington, Larry Johnson and Steve Smith along others from the recent NFL series.

The Chavys were $6.98; not much of a discount if you ask me. There were at least 7 of them though. Also, I counted at least 27 Gores now. :eek:

Hello I am here in New York, but I am 49ers fan.TRU in Time Squre just have Fox football robot today. I picked up two. It looks cool. I was $18.99. Also FAO has a lot of 49ers legends 3packs regular, but a lot expensive than normal price. It was around $40.00 if I remember it right. NBA store has a lot of worthy purple jersey chase figure, but NBA store is the most expensive clashell figure is $15.00 each.

Do have a question though as I will be moving to Florida in a couple months. Was wondering if there was any good hole in the walls diners you stopped in on the way to Texas. Of course I am trying to avoid I-10, I hear that road through texas is long and mind numbing. Was planning on taking I-40 and dropping down through Dallas to catch I-20...

What time today (err...yesterday now) did you go to the Pleasant Hill TRU? That's actually the same one I was at today. I am curious to know which figures you saw there when you went. As I said before, it was about 4 pegs of Aarons, 1 single Schmidt, and one or two Sandbergs. Now that I think about it, I almost want to see at least one of the Sandbergs was the blue jersey chase, but I was so busy looking for Mantle and Eckersley that I didn't even bat an eyelash.

Why didn't you pick up the Eck that was there? There was one left when I got there this morning and I picked it up for my mom. I figured your little secret place was the Stockton TRU. I live in Modesto and I go up there every once in a while and always have good luck. Shoot, last time I left two Thomas chases (no need) and a Wilkins All-Star (had already picked up two for a friend). Another good place was the TRU in Merced but I believe that one closed up last year.

“Meet & Greet”. If few people are going to the SJ Toy Show, there’s always the Hayward show on Saturdays. I wasn’t planning on anything special since there aren’t any boardies going to the show except for POGELOCUS. The SJ Toy Show starts at 9AM with an early bird admission of $15. We can all meet there just before 9AM. I usually go around 10AM when the admission will be $5 at 11AM but I usually arrive early and get in line. Before that, I’m thinking of stopping by the new TRU on Monterey Hwy/Curtner when they open at 10AM to see what they have then proceed to the fairgrounds for the show.

We can all meet at the new TRU before opening maybe 9:30AM since not everybody will go to the show. Trade your SPs with other boardies. If enough people go I can bring the donuts or bagels. There’s a Target next to TRU with a Starbucks inside I believe, not sure. I don’t want to inconvenience anyone with prior commitments. Bruce, if you’re not going to the show, meeting at TRU would be easier. If anybody else is interested, just go to the new TRU (Monterey/Curtner) before opening 9:30AM, and let me know if you want donuts or bagels. Any other recommendations, LMK THX!

MLB 20 and Coops 5 at TRU BH today. Went by after work so all the good stuff long gone, but a guy brought out a fresh case of Coops for me. No variants, but got the empty box for storage along with a minty reg Eck and Cobb reg. Pegs are already labeled just for Zito, so assume full cases of him are arriving soon. 2 Wangs, 1 Shef, 2 Phils guy...no Zitos or Youkalis. Also had 4 each of Mets and Red Sox 3-packs.

Went to Hayward today and met GSP there. He scored a Fitz SB for $20.00. No NHL to be found, and few dealers even open. Southland Mall show was small; Uncle Warren and one other guy had SPs. Warren had a white Cobb for $35.00, but wouldn't do a trade + cash so I passed. Found a few Ecks at Winchester TRU; 2 new Zito regs at Fremont TRU. Nuttin else worth commenting on...

Blossom Hill TRU put out their "Opening Day" display yesterday...I didn't roll by until last nite. A solid case of Ecks there with 8 left. No variants. 1 reg Shef seems to be the case average, if any at all. Also a case of Zitos there. Curtner had more MLB 20 this morn w/ more Coops also, even though no official front of store display yet. Probably 3 Youks and at least 6 Wangs. No variants. Then hit Winchester. A fresh case of MLB 20 there and found a grey Youk with a minor dent on the front corner. Probably 3 reg Youks there. Still waiting for more NHL...:(

No, I usually only head up there every once in awhile. Usually when a series is first starting to hit the shelves or I'm heading in that direction (which is hardly ever).

Just got bak from KBtoys at the GM and they got in MLB 21, Spawn 33, NBA 11, NBA 14 but only one chase from NBA 14 which was the white Prince, left it ther and no Isis.

According to the employee :rolleyes: ther were 4 reg Dice-K but 2 were missing or somebody hid it cuz i couldn't find the other 2 and someone had bought 2 already. This is wat was in the case:
MLB 21 - 4 Dice-k, 2 Posadas, 1 Soriano, 1 Garciaparra.

Champs at Newark Park Mall has MLB 21, no chase but i got one of the two variant of Dice-K with logo on the cap and left the other one. They also had Josh Hamilton so i grabbed it :) and if ne1 still need Legend NFL Bo they had 4 of them.

^I know we have been selling them since the start of the season. There was kind of an issue with them -the alignment of the crest over the split on the front of the jersey was differeent from the regular home jersey, so it looked a little strange- when you see them you'll understand- but I don't know if they were going to fix them this year or not.
