^I stopped by Serramonte today and thought it was pretty hoppin. Seemed like there were a lot of dealers there that would normally be at say a Tri-Star show. Bought the RB 3-pack with LJ, Alexander, and LT for $10. The same dealer was getting rid of singles for $3.

Also bought a UD Ali Thrilla in Manila figure- they look nice. Saw the UD Jordan going to the hoop out of package paired with a McFarlane hoop and it looked really nice- may have to pick one up too.

Also stopped by Target and got a Marion Barber Exclusive to boot..

SONOMA, California -- Road-race veteran Boris Said has confirmed that he will compete in the Bennett Lane Winery 200, presented by Supercuts, NASCAR Camping World West Series race at Infineon Raceway on Saturday, June 20.

Said will drive the No. 57 entry for DenBeste Motorsports & Biagi Brothers, which is dedicated to the career of legendary Oakland Raiders quarterback Ken Stabler.

The car features a special silver-and-black paint scheme, with hints of snake-skin colors throughout. Stabler was recently named the Grand Marshal of the Toyota/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series weekend at Infineon Raceway, June 19-21.

Said is no stranger to Infineon Raceway and should be one of the favorites when the green flag drops on the Bennett Lane Winery 200. He finished second in the West Series event in Sonoma in 2006 and third in 2007.

Moreover, Said won the 1998 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event in Sonoma, and he has also reached the Wine Country Winner’s Circle in a variety of other disciplines. He has four top-10 efforts in nine NASCAR Sprint Cup starts in Sonoma.

It was the guy who signed in silver paint underneath the white panel- I guess he wanted to be different. I could only make out the #56 for sure and after looking it up on the Raiders all-time roster, I figured out it was Jeff Barnes. I confirmed many of the signatures (including his) by comparing them to sigs on eBay. I'll list who I got when I get home tonight. Missed out on Jack Tatum and also Rod Martin, though Martin did sign my USC helmet and a Raiders mini helmet for me. :)

Same thing at Pittsburg TRU, only found Barry instead of Manning. Hopefully we'll see full cases of Young and Montana.

I think I read somewhere on here that a guy found full case of Steves in FLA area. If that is true, then the full case policy for the region where the player played has obviously not changed, and many Steves and Joes should be headed our way. (although the mysterious Cheechoo boondoggle still leaves me with a shred of doubt about Steve)

Blossom Hill TRU got what looks like 3 cases; were not there this morning but the pegs were cleared...were put out during the day. 17 figs left tonight: 2 Marino, 3 Starr, 3 Randall, 3 Archie and 6 Sanders. I'm assuming there was at least one Marino chaser amongst the 7 missing. Pretty good shape overall and packaging is a bit smaller and has a tougher gloss on it for better protection. But the hang tag diameter is smaller, so lifting off the pegs is going to fray it quickly. Picked up minty Marino (even though face is not as good the teal looks very nice) and a Barry. No Steves or Joes...but many should be coming soon.

Back from North Bay excursion. Nothing in Fremont or Hayward. But found some NCAA at San Rafael tonight. 2 Peytons and Bradys and 1 Russell. Packaging is very colorful and glossy and condition of all pieces seemed great. Bought Russell and a Peyton. No Petersons in sight. No Legends left at this store except 1 Starr.

After the Giants game I stopped by the toy show on 16th ave and embarcadero in Oakland. One dealer had a case of steve youngs. another had a about 5 Montanas(Chiefs) and 5 Youngs.
Pinole TRU had NCAA AP reg, Manning and Brady. Employee told me that its impossible to get a White Montana b/c every Wednesday theres a bunch a people that go there early and buy everything.

Found NHL Legends today at San Mateo TRU: 3 Gretzkys, 1 Red Wings Sawchuk, 1 Fleury, and 1 Horton left, bought the RW Sawchuk, but was looking for Lemieux.

Was at BH TRU when they opened yesterday and raced our friendly neighborhood SP hound to the pegs. Only 7 pieces there..bought the reg Mario. Looks like employees are at it again. The guy who gets all the variants around here now got a white Mario from Curtner on Tuesday. Says he has seen about 12 red Mannings in the area (he is at the stores every day so gets first crack usually) but no Rivers reg or variant.

I found Doan Super Chase #109 on the pegs. I didn't know it was a super chase at the time, just thought it was a variant white uniform, and I wanted to get a figure from the Jets so I bought it. Kinda luck into that one. Found a white Gretzky today. Only fig I didn't buy was the Fleury.

Yeah the guy in charge moved everyone into the back so he could have concerts or something in the front. Think I'll swing by there today and see what's going on.
